Man it is SO FUCKING SATISFYING to see you all shit on this. I'll be honest, I was PRAYING TO GOD that Mariana died just so I could go back and hear you all bitch and moan about it. Thanks for getting me to laugh my ass off for a good ten minutes. And the flashbacks? HOLY SHIT was that better! Everyone hating on Kenny's flashback was SO entertaining to watch! Anyways, now that I'm done reading through comedy gold that is all your salt, I'm gonna go ahead and talk about my thoughts here. Well I understand as far as Clem goes how you all are pissed off at her "edgyness" but honestly I'm fine with it. Her personality was completely justified IMO. Hell I'd probably shoot Eli if I had him con me like that. Looking forward to seeing more of Clem's character growth. And finally we get to then end with Talia Mari dying (Seriously is she a rehash of Talia? Looked like it.) I was expecting her to maybe die in Ep. 2, but the first episode? I honestly don't care and thought it was good shock value, plus I knew I'd get to enjoy all of you bitching and moaning about it, so that's the added bonus. ...Can I just say how glad I am that Sonic is gone? Same. ... Except... Fuckin Sonic. |

I honestly don't care and thought it was good shock value, plus I knew I'd get to enjoy all of you bitching and moaning about it, so that's the added bonus.  You're getting extremely irritating. At least when we're pissed we don't have a tantrum for four pages, threaten to post robot porn and call people cunts because we don't understand comic banter. Holy shit, how did I miss this post? Sonic posted a 5 paragraph rant bashing all of us, and Jayko destroyed him in one fucking sentence. |

Just finished Ep1. Are you kidding me? Boatmaster dies from a fucking car accident? I legitimately refuse this happened. Javier was alright, have no real complaints with him. I've played Clem as innocent as possible in S2 and she turns out to be really annoying in S3. Guess this happens regardless of our choices. I really had fun talking back to her, and laughed at all the dialogue options that kept on insisting that she could handle herself, "she's so badass, guys!" Mariana was too pure for this world. Honestly, I immediately preferred her over Clem. I'm assuming she dies no matter what choices you pick in Ep1, so I'm not going to replay just to have her survive and get a bullshit Sarah death in Ep2 or something. I'm still miffed over her death.-Stayed the night -Let the guy go -Told the truth, was allowed to walk around -Left in the morning -Stayed with family Episode was pretty short, and I've got issues with the Kenny scene. Who were the new writers? I haven't played any of the recent TTG, so I couldn't recognize them. Some of the writing was a little awkward. 7/10. I'll probably play Ep2 tomorrow. This is why we're not seeing any conversation about this, holy shit. Like seriously, how many of you guys replayed ANF? Then think back to old TTG days. I had 2 playthroughs running throughout my entire playthrough of S1, and in TWAU, I made 3 different save files before episode 2 even came out. |

I've played it three times and basically nothing changes. Huh. Remember season 1? When Kenny would either be your best friend, or leave you for dead depending on how much you kissed his ass? That's EXACTLY what this is about. Remember how, if you saved Shawn, he'd tell Hershel that you tried to save him? Remember how in episode 2, Carley would shoot Andy St. John, but Doug would use a fuckin' laser to save you? Or how Clementine got a new sweater if you stole from Campman? It's those little unnoticeable changes, alongside big, character defining changes that gave us shit to talk about. In the S1 days, what was the biggest conversation? It was always, always always Kenny. Is Kenny a good person? Does he deserve Lee kissing his ass? What does Kenny leaving Lee to die by Danny's hands say about Ken as a character? We cared about that shit. In ANF, what do we care about? What have we talked about? Man, Mari's death was lame. ... Heh. Trip has a funny beard. ... Gabe gets boners. |

But seriously, it is just kind of sad to think of just... how much life ANF seems to have drained from this community. I know that Telltale really isn't the life blood of the community anymore, but still, there used to be something about the release of a new episode, the rush of all of those spoiler tags. It may not be the reason why we all stick around anymore, but it was something that united us. And it started back a while ago. Minecraft got nothing, Michonne got some hate, but no real discussion, I barely remember anyone caring about the release of new Batman episodes.... and now, we still do have something uniting us, and it's hate. It's not comparing choices and debating about characters, it's not saying what we liked or didn't like, predicting what's going to happen next, it's just.... hate. And there's just... something sad about that. |

I really don't know what to do anymore, this was the last glimmer of hope I had in the gaming industry, I really thought this was going to keep me excited to be looking forward to something for the next few months. What can I do? shit on the game on all sites or what? I'm constantly finding myself pacing around my house ruminating about this shit, asking myself "Why did they do this, how did they do this, why did I invest myself so much in this series, is this how it's going to be from now on?". It's really depressing and I've never felt like this before. 2 fucking years... 2 fucking years and this is the best they come up with.

Even though I'm glad too, I must say I feel somewhat sad for the guy. I know he's shitted on us, and reading that bait quote makes me want to literally kill someone, but still, I imagine that it probably feels like shit to leave the forum like that. I've joked with it and made memes, but I get that it probably feels bad for him. I just hope he changes, and finds something worth to do, makes friends, goes to activities, and shit like that. |
