Looks at least interesting. Not looking forward to seeing how Clem gets torn back into the story, but whatever. Javier looks cool.

Honestly, I just love the aesthetics of the art-style and just... the tension in that scene. I mean, its a scene we've seen so many times in TWD, but this felt unique in it's own way and... yeah, that gives me a lot of hope.

I felt like the spanish voice acting didn't feel natural. It just sounded off. That's my only real criticism of it.

Could be they did something similar to the Russian voice actors in Amid the Ruins. i.e english speaking actors speaking a foreign language. If I recall, some native speakers were talking about how awful it was in that episode. I hope that's not the case though.

I feel like I speak better spanish.

Native spanish speaker here... It does sound kinda cringy. It's odd though because what they're saying and the expressions and everything is right... but it just feels off somehow xD

Do we know Javy's VA yet?
Oh, even after everything and anything, it feels so good to have Walking Dead back. To play, to talk about, to experience. I'M SO READY.

No idea who that is. Funny, looking him up on IMDb, I've seen him in three of his four credits prior to this. (Orange Is the New Black, Blindspot and The Affair.) I mean, all were glorified extra roles, but funny nonetheless.

Did anyone else hear Erin Yvette in the trailer? I'm pretty sure I did. I think she's voicing the character that I'm just going to assume is Javier's older sister(not necessarily older sister as in older than Javier, but older as in older than the younger sister).
Edit: Watching it again I'm less sure. Still could be, but I don't know.

The part where Javi's sister flips the light switch and we just see her Grandpa's silhouette - that kind of encapsulates what I'm talking about here.

Yeah, so quote from Telltale's site, looks like the two part premiere is the first two episodes of five total:
"The first TWO of five episodes in The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier will premiere digitally worldwide starting Tuesday December 20th on PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, iOS, and Android-based devices. We expect to have info on release dates for additional platforms in the near future too."
Also, some nonsense that supposedly is hinting at themes for the season:
"When family is all you have left... how far will you go to protect it? Years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to protect his family, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last."
And then blah blah blah new beginning for newcomers but will also continue season one and two, and it seems like they'll have some thing to create an outline of important choices if you can't import a save:
"We also confirmed today that The Walking Dead: A New Frontier will act as a new beginning for players fresh to the series and unfamiliar with Clementine, as well as a continuation for players who have experienced Seasons One and Two. If you're new to the series, you'll be able to start a story that's tailored to this new beginning. Continuing onward from prior seasons? You'll have multiple options for quickly configuring your own tailored backstory, or importing past save files from various platforms. We'll be sharing additional info on this feature in the coming weeks."
