Combining Season 1 Clem with the older Clem's features, Season 2 Clem probably woulda looked like this: Or you can pretend this is Clem at 10 years old.

Heh, in the opening scene of Season 2 she was still the innocent Clem from Season 1, and after the time jump she turned into Dark Clem Same goes for her behaviour - she was more adult than most of the grown ups from that moment forward. Guess that was the price of making her a playable character...

I just realized her eyes should not be possible.

I just realized her eyes should not be possible. You mean the colour? I think they're intended to be hazel.

It's not a thread about season 2 being bad. It's about it being good but not anywhere near as good as season 1. My mistake, let me correct it. *guywholikesSeasonTwobetterthanSeasonOnewandersintothreadaboutSeasonTwobeingnotasgoodasSeasonOne* That's because in every field other than graphics and engine, Season one is a million miles ahead of season 2.

Alright, using Jake's pictures and my very rudimentary Paint skills, this is my approximation of what I think Clem should have looked like in S2.

Personally, I've played season 2 multiple times (haven't played episode 3 more than once yet, going to this weekend). I've enjoyed it a lot, even on replays.
Season one is a bit better, but personally, I don't think by very much.

I'm clearly "outnumbered" here, so I'm just going to say this.
I've played each episode many, many times (Episode 1 and 2 I've played about 5 or 6 times each, from beginning to end, and I've played episode 3 about 3 or 4 times), and so far, I've enjoyed it way more than the first three episodes of Season One.
This is just my own experience, you can say all you want about lack of character development, and poor story telling, but I simply like Season Two far more than Season One. There's been things here and there, such as Lee being a better playable character than Clem(interesting to get a child's perspective, but ultimately, it's changed her personality too much and made for some not so smart moments in the story(no one can stop the windmill but Clem)), but really, I overall like the cast of Season Two more, and so far, it's affected me more(overall I mean, there have so far been more individually emotional moments in Season One, but Season Two wins out as a whole).
Also, yes, better graphics and style, better QTEs, and I actually enjoy the lack of hubs, for the most part. The ones that exist could have been more fleshed out though(the first night in the prison, you can only say one thing to Nick and Rebecca each. There is no reason for that).

Yeah, because having characters we know nothing about makes us so attached to them. We know so much about every single character in Season 1, but in Season 2, it seems like they're just riding Kenny to victory. Interesting characters have shown their head, and made me fucking adore them, such as Nick, but the lack of backstories, and the lack of knowledge about them is really irritating. The only characters we know any acceptable level of information on are as follows:
Clementine, main character, pre-established in Season 1 Christa, pre-established in season 1 Kenny, main character, pre-established in season 1 Omid, pre-established in season 1 Nick, determinate, has next to no presence when kept alive Pete, one off character
Everybody else? They're there, and then they're not.

I really want to learn more about Luke, but it's not gonna happen because he keeps going missing so Kenny can save the day.
Plus Sarah's probably gonna end up determinant next episode so there's another interesting character down the drain.

Bonnie is a pretty good character. But again, pre-established in 400 days

Bonnie is a pretty good character. But again, pre-established in 400 days They could have done so much more with that DLC, made the characters so much better. They did great with Bonnie, she's one of my favorites. The other characters (except kinda Tavia) were irrelevant. Hopefully it changes in episode 4. But I doubt it will.

But I doubt it will.I was modding texture files the other day and came across something that suggests the 400 days characters won't make further returns; the Season 2 characters have a different facial texture style, and this also applies to returning Season 1 characters who made extensive appearances, namely Kenny, Christa and Bonnie. The 400 days characters didn't have new facial textures and instead use their old ones from Season 1 - and this happened with Omid and Clementine in the flashback who only made brief appearances. This sort of suggests Christa will return later too.
