The funniest thing about season 2 Kenny is that he's getting a lot of screen time, but really hasn't been developed that much either. Something happened to him between season 1 and season 2. And he still thinks about Duck. That's it.
I liked Rebecca's added screen time in In Harm's Way. She was showing some qualities of a leader, IMO.

Not as Jane-centric as the preview featured. I don't give a fuck about her when we have this entire group that we've been with since episode 1 that are yet to be developed. 2. Kenny takes the Sarita thing HORRIBLY and we get him starting to fall apart. Gives the player something to think about with him other than just being a noble loudmouth. That said... I want him to stay true to looking out for Clementine. I'm a huge Kenny supporter. Always will be. Can't get enough of the guy. 3. More Luke. He's supposed to be crucial to the group. Let us pull back the curtain more on him. 4. Give Nick a proper sendoff that reflects what we know about him. (Because as much as I'm a believer that he'll make it to episode 5, I don't believe it at all.) 5. 400 Days people.

I want Nick's death to be a sacrifice for someone, and for him to have final words while he's bleeding out on the ground. Luke tries to help him but Nick accepts he's gonna die and says something like "All my life I never did anything right, maybe I just changed that."

Yeah, Christa. She certainly got the short end of the stick when it comes to Season 1 characters in Season 2. Well, not so much as Omid, but still. She better survive the Season.

I'm stuck between wanting Christa back and wanting development for the new characters.

I saw something about Nick's potential sacrifice broached over on the TT Forums, where Nick will make a call back to the beginning of Episode 2. A scenario where he'd comment on whatever interaction he and Clem had in the shed, or he'll ask Clem about what happened with Pete just before she left him. I'd really like that. Especially if Nick says "Well, we're burning daylight" or some variation just before he sacrifices himself. It's be a nice callback to both Pete's final words in the truck and what Luke said when they began their business venture.

Personally, I've played season 2 multiple times (haven't played episode 3 more than once yet, going to this weekend). I've enjoyed it a lot, even on replays. Season one is a bit better, but personally, I don't think by very much. This is my exact opinion, season 1 is better, not my a huge margin, but it is, but I didn't expect it to be better, and I am okay with it not being better because frankly, there was no way it could ever be better, just like the idea of a Last of Us 2 being better.

I'm clearly "outnumbered" here, so I'm just going to say this. I've played each episode many, many times (Episode 1 and 2 I've played about 5 or 6 times each, from beginning to end, and I've played episode 3 about 3 or 4 times), and so far, I've enjoyed it way more than the first three episodes of Season One. This is just my own experience, you can say all you want about lack of character development, and poor story telling, but I simply like Season Two far more than Season One. There's been things here and there, such as Lee being a better playable character than Clem(interesting to get a child's perspective, but ultimately, it's changed her personality too much and made for some not so smart moments in the story(no one can stop the windmill but Clem)), but really, I overall like the cast of Season Two more, and so far, it's affected me more(overall I mean, there have so far been more individually emotional moments in Season One, but Season Two wins out as a whole). Also, yes, better graphics and style, better QTEs, and I actually enjoy the lack of hubs, for the most part. The ones that exist could have been more fleshed out though(the first night in the prison, you can only say one thing to Nick and Rebecca each. There is no reason for that). I do agree better QTEs, I mean from what I played, TWAU has the best QTEs, but season 2 did improve on season 1, and it is somehow even more tense.

They could have done so much more with that DLC, made the characters so much better. They did great with Bonnie, she's one of my favorites. The other characters (except kinda Tavia) were irrelevant. Hopefully it changes in episode 4. But I doubt it will.I was modding texture files the other day and came across something that suggests the 400 days characters won't make further returns; the Season 2 characters have a different facial texture style, and this also applies to returning Season 1 characters who made extensive appearances, namely Kenny, Christa and Bonnie. The 400 days characters didn't have new facial textures and instead use their old ones from Season 1 - and this happened with Omid and Clementine in the flashback who only made brief appearances. This sort of suggests Christa will return later too. I sadly expected that, what a huge ass waste, that and we all know Christa is coming back, its just when.

I feel differently. For me, Season 1 is clearly superior, and I'd take that over Season 2 any day. I don't hate Season 2 by any means, but I think it's a considerable decline in quality from Season 1.

Maybe he hangs back or something to slow walkers down or something and says, "You gotta go; we're burning daylight."

Agreed on all, since its extremely likely Nick is fucked, at least make it a extremely memorable and sad send off, don't butcher it and make it a Omid death or worse off screen, I want it to be really sad, like the first TWD season 2 death I cry at a lot, they can do it, very easily, its just will they?
