Goddamn sectopods are THE WORST! My best guys are Weaver, codename "Murica" an assault with Titan armor, Myself a support with Ghost armor, Shimzu codenamed "Man Hands" (It's a Mirror's Edge joke me and my brother made a few years back), another assault with Titan armor and Alice codenamed "Lucky Charms" a sniper with Psi armor. The best part is that I didn't know Lucky Charms was gonna be a psionic soldier, and my brother guessed it cause she's "Magically Delicious" Do you remember what it was like the first time you met the Sectopods?

Do you remember what it was like the first time you met the Sectopods? Yep. First I saw the picture of one on the hardest game enemies thread, and judging by the art style I knew it was XCOM. After seeing that I decided to get back into the game after not having played it since March, and when I saw it obliterate two of my SHIVS and put Weaver into Critical condition, they have become the bane of my existence. Forget Septhiroth back in Kingdom Hearts 2, THOSE THINGS ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO KILL.

First time I saw them, my squad was chowing down on some hulks, with no real glaring issues, then the sectopod showed up and took out all of my red shirts, but my super squad of a sniper, an assault, and what I thought was a red shirt, soon to be super squad heavy. They took care of business.

Hey, I saw that the Bureau: XCOM Declassified is on sale for $12. Should I get it? It seems like a cool game, basically bringing the abilities of Enemy Unknown to a TPS.

It acts like it wants to be EU, but it's not, it's a mediocre third person shooter with vague ties to the Xcom universe, it was going to be more like Bioshock where your a civilian trying to survive against aliens, a lot like Bioshock which would have been good, it got pushed back due to Enemy Unknown, and thus was made into a third person shooter that is dull, does not have any of the good features EU had, a very uninspired and cliche story, it's a mess, but it's not the worst mess of 2013, not worth it.

In fact the only funny thing I found about the game was creating your own agents, and one of the random names being Booker DeWitt, and looking like everyone's favorite Pinkerton agent, Totalbiscuit kind of did that in his video, I will give you the link.

To sum it up, it would have been better if it had more X Files elements, less Independence Day.

I don't think so, what are they? Yep, they will become a best friend, do you like Sectoid commanders? Man, fuck etherials. I killed a sectopod without trouble and thought my team was unbeatable, few minutes later I met one of them. It turned to shit quickly, I lost Larry and Doug and his badass psychic powers are the only reason nobody else from the team died. It was immune to my heavy plasmas and lasers.

Shit, I'm not gonna make it. Now there were a sectopod AND an etherial in one room. Plus some drones, mutones elites and berserkers. Wyatt didn't make it. Still, I'm surprised everone else did. That was a hell.
