I really hope he'll survive, he is my favourite from the new characters. I think there won't be a choice to leave or cut off the leg. There will be a choice to let Pete do it, or do it for him. Nick probably survived, if TT wanted to kill him off in save Pete scenario, then they would just do it in episode 1. I think Pete will survive the amputation somehow and die in episode 3 or near the end of episode 2. You know what would be cool, if we have to get supplies and do the procedure for Pete. If we do the operation successfully, Pete lives, if you fail or do it too slow, he dies. Now that be an interesting choice, and would affect future episodes And I'd love to see the stats of who failed/succeeded in the operation Yeah, I'd like to see that happen as well. I mean, in Episode 5, we all made the "choice" to have Lee fully choke The Stranger to death or have Clementine shoot him in the face to save Lee. If Pete does survive, he could be just like TV series Hershel. (I know I mentioned it more than once, but I really like to think of it like that.) And also, we'd be even. (I just leveled up to Luke. Booyah! )

How are you suppose to cut off your own leg? I can't picture that happening. Dark Cut is awesome.

Well, he BETTER live. He's just too awesome to die now. Before we even got back to the cabin in my first playthrough, I decided that he could be the new Kenny for season 2 (as in, my bro. provided that Actual Kenny is actually dead).
Of course, out of everyone in the cabin group, it had to be HIM that got bitten at the end...

And the guy that looks like Kenny does not die either way.

Yeah, I made the wrong choice, considering Nick lives, while Pete dies.

I got a feeling Nick will die if you don't save him, because if they don't, then Telltale really fucked up.

The only fate that's REALLY changed (so far) is Pete's. However, I remember reading that Telltale said that this choice would have some "far reaching consequences" (I believe that's what was said) for a good portion of the Season, and these consequences are apparently why All That Remains seemed so short. They felt that they couldn't portray that without making the Episode overly long or some such, so we'll get to see these consequences in the next Episode.

Anyways, I saved him because I felt like I owed him. He did just save my life less than 24 hours ago, and I didn't know if he had been bitten. I was really pissed when I found out that he was bit, but then I realized that Nick lives either way. So I'm glad I saved him.

I've got a feeling that this is going to have much more of an impact than Carley/Doug, or even save Ben/drop Ben. Its sorta a hybrid of the two in a ways, but much more so.

If they do, then good for them, but I feel like one will die either way, but will live and die at different points.

Well if you played BEFORE you knew what happens in both choices, then you'd clearly save Nick. Literally every person I've seen go in blind has saved Nick.

I think the reason though Is because I thought Pete shot his foot, instead of being bitten. When I saw the scene in the preview with the saw, I was like... Shit.
