"It is nice to meet you in person." Sage greeted them, standing up from his seat as Rajendra waved a hand and summoned 3 more seats (and 3 more cups of tea) into existence.

"I have one father and six mothers to be exact, one gave birth to triplets who are still infants." Joan added, sitting down.
Ambrosius and Chuckles did the same.
"...You fought for Pandora's box?" Mirai asked, as that got his attention.
"Me and dozens of others who were after the box, let me tell you, it was quite a chaotic battle. I did manage to kill the guard captains from the Beowulf and Iago Kingdoms but things got dicey with the Rain warriors, they were ruthless. Then Izanagi Himawari who used to be from the Iago Kingdom intervened in the battle and what he nearly did to me wasn't quite pleasant." Joan commented, grabbing onto her left arm's glove.
She pulled it off, revealing that her hand and forearm were dark green, she was missing two or three fingernails.
"I suppose all those rumours about him having the 'touch of death' weren't exaggerated as I watched him cover my arm in disgusting mold and was close to decay it before I pulled it out of his grip just in time but Griffith is in a worse condition I'm afraid, he suffered a lot damage without the teleportation element to bail him out of their attacks." Joan said, pulling her glove back on.

Isa blinked, letting it sink in for a bit. "...Oh. But he's alive, right?" She then asked, looking somewhat ashamed. "Griffith, I mean, not the guy who did that to you."

“He lost quite a lot of blood and he is unconscious but thankfully, we have a magician who is keeping him alive at the moment.” Joan said, as her snake’s head peered out from underneath her collar.

“We escaped when things got very bad. We do not know who has the box.” Joan said.
“…We saw three women having a box.” Mirai commented.

"...Uh, they were all wearing dresses, one woman had yellow hair, the other had black hair and one had dark skin. They were surrounded by guys in armor." Mirai described.
"...There are plenty of women around here who match those descriptions, shorty." Chuckles said.

"Can you be more specific?" Durga asked.
"Well, the yellow haired lady was wearing a blue kimono and the other two were both wearing white dresses, kind of like mine, except one of them had sleeves. It was the third lady who was holding the box and they had both washed ashore on a boat, I think.
It was also raining, which was kind of weird, I don't think it's rained since Mirai arrived." Isa commented.
"Ha, it hasn't rained up here in weeks." Sage said, "If it weren't for the elements we had, our entire mode of business would've been in trouble. We're in actual drought territory up here now."
"...That means that, most likely, those ladies are either from the Rain Kingdom or some of the unclaimed islands." Durga suggested.

"Some girl from Rain, blonde hair, yellow eyes, kind of a hardass, Kokyu likes her, etcetera." Isa said. "...Those were Griffith's words, I think."
"Nemea? Interesting name." Durga noted.
"...Oh. I've heard of her. The Rain King put a bounty out on anyone able to kill her a couple of days ago. Some of our agents on the Islands saw her on wanted posters and the like over there." Sage said.
"This might be the reason why, then. But that still leaves us curious as to who the other two are." Rajendra commented.

"...Wait, Noriaki and Majin were after that box, what happened to them?" Mirai asked.
"Kouki and his stooge were there but oddly enough, they din't get involved in the fight or even attempted to steal the box for themselves. They watched the entire battle like it was a spectacle. It was quite odd, wouldn't you agree?" Joan asked, folding her arms.
"It makes sense to me, how do you expect a blind guy and his know-it-all toadie to fight against 1000 guys all at once, they saw how screwed their chances of getting the box were and decided not to get involved." Chuckles reasoned.
