-Make sure to check out Heroes Vs Villains Season 14: BLACK ICE and Season 15: Umbrial to follow the story for Universe 13-
Not for my mistakes, my failiures or actions, but for the fact i cant visit you, i cant see you beyond the void of no return.
Ive been trying to find them, yet none are capable enough, none are ready, and how could they? i suppose.
I promise, one day, i will find them...
The Soulless World,, the charred black terrain filled the landscape of cliffs and valleys and dried rivers that layed before them, perhaps echos of what this world may have been in a different time, destroyed structures, cities, skeletons of creatures and humanoids of every size and shape, a distant blue horrizon and above, the large un mistakible Black Hole the planet orbited around, a sense of regret and a chill filled the air around the group as they took their first steps, the gate they entered from nowhere in sight, this was always going to be a one way trip.
They stood before a strange monument, a statue of two individuals, one a man, the other a woman, besides the womans unique dress and the armor of the man, no distinct features could be figured out from what remained of the statue, perhaps it was once a shrine, or maybe a grave, it was hard to tell.
But what wasnt hard to notice, was the unique energy that surrounded it.

Salazar who stood in front of the group just stared at the momument, at the man and the woman.
"...I feel like I've seen them before...in that dream where the voice of the woman from that family that got executed talked to me." Salazar said.
"This has to be one of the dumbest decisions ever made, walking right into this gate immediately after Messorem challenged us to walk into it without even thinking of a plan, this is so obviously a trap for crying out loud!" Hermes said, more pissed off about that.
"Whether you like it or not, it doesn't matter now, we are here at last. There's no point in turning back now, not when I prepared myself for this day for so long." Kalfu said, his tone sounded a lot more serious than usual as he focused his eyes on his surroundings.
Calypso had nothing to say, she just looked at the entire area before she looked at the rest of the group to see what their reactions were.
"..Wait, we're not going to gloss over that, are we?" Micah asked. "Preparing for this day for so long? Didn't we only- did I forget something?, What are you on about? Preparing how?"
Owen was staring at the back of Sophia's head, standing not too far from Kalfu, in turn- Micah was looking at the two of them- one hand around his dusty old sword, and the other wrapped around his chest, tightly gripping his own cardigan as he fidgeted in place.
Sophia took a couple of extra steps, now the one in front of the group as she stared at the two statues as well, dragging her pen along the open book she held in her hands. "Hmm, hmm hm..." She hummed to herself. Smiling, unaffected by the conversation behind her. She finished her rough sketches of the statues in front of her and slapped the book shut. "Interesting statue's." She commented. "And interesting theory, Salazar. Wonder why there's statues of those two in here."
Kita, stood approximately in the middle of the group, ran her hand along the pouch of medicine strapped to her waist, running a finger along one of the needles inside it. She said nothing, her eyes roaming the landscape.
Samantha stood separate from the rest of the group. Looking at the back of each and every one of their heads while keeping her hands balled up inside her sleeves. The shadows swirling at her feet as she kept her lips pressed together.

Slyfers face obviously couldnt be seen through the visor on his helmet, but he looked at Kita, and then to the statues.
Nakia also stood near the front, looking around at the world around her, as did Roka.
"This place isnt as....terrifying as i thought it would be, it looks kinda....sad." Kullos said
meanwhile, Ori was right by Sophia, looking at her drawing while she did it. "Wow! your really good at that!" Ori smiled, somehow so focused on Sophias drawing that she forgot about the world that stood before her.
As they looked they could see a large cliff, dead trees stood on top, a large valley with a destroyed farm house, and not too far ahead of them was a small villiage, or what was left of one.
The energy from the statue continued to emit, as if calling out, its unclear what kind of energy it is, but its faint.
"Oh i'll never kill myself to save my soul, I was gone but how was i to know? I Didn't come this far to sink so low... I'm finally holding on to letting go." -Slipknot - Unsainted.
"I know." Sophia smiled at Ori, "I've had a lot of practise, back when I was going to school. I'd spend some of my breaks just sketching whatever I saw out of the window in the art room. Did you ever do that?" She asked, turning around and looking straight at Ori's eyes.
Kita almost bumped past the two of them as she walked up to the statues. Slowly leaning over to place her hand on the statue of the woman, still quiet.

Kalfu only turned his head slighty to Micah, but his expression was unclear
"Before you and your sister joined us, I decided to travel along with this group for a single purpose, to get to this world and confront the God of Endings. There is a person out there, somewhere in this world who was born on Odrion and ended up in this world and presumably lost his life in the process, I did not come with all of you just for the sake of adventures and laughter's. Your sister was there when we found the gate outside the snowy village, she can vouch for what I said back there." Kalfu said.
"Well, that's noble and all, but how do you expect to confront him exactly? If Messorem doesn't turn out to be a super nice deity who offers tea and cookies to curious tourists, how do you plan on defeating him? Unless Nakia has a super powerful evolution up her sleeve like most guardians or Kita evolves Slyfer to a new level or Kullos uses his Luck to give us advantage, our chances of making it out of this place alive are almost astronomical." Hermes said as he crossed his arms.
"...There is something coming from that statue...maybe we should check that out." Calypso guessed as she looked at Samantha.
Salazar approached the statue, standing next to Kita as he looked at it for a few seconds before he slowly placed his hand on it to see what would happen.

The moment their hands touched it, there was a flash of light and a energy shot out like a wave over the entire planet, and as that waved passed, the entire world changed.
The group could see the sky was now a beautiful blue, faintly pink with a sun shining in the sky, the grass beneath their feet was a bright orange with a field of flowers of all types of colors, the town ahead was filled with people and life both neonytes and humans alike, even some other creatures.
A kid stood infront of the statue, a young girl, and behind her was the two people the statue was made after. The woman, whose dress was made of some kind of crystal, colors of Red Blue and Gold was flowing through it, her hair was white as was her eyes, she had a soft warm face, gentle. Smiling at the child, and she was holding the hand of a man, wearing a strange armor, black and blue, it looked both futuristic and ancient, it covered his entire body from head to toe.
The young child turned to the couple.
"Oh hello! do you like what i made! i made it just for you two!" the kid asked, a sparkle in their eye.
The woman and man looked at eachother and the woman smiled at the kid. "Aww, Fillis that is so sweet of you, we love it." She said, and everyone in the group recognized her voice immediately, the same one from their dreams.
"It is wonderful child." the man said, and his voice was also immediately familer, they didnt even have to guess who he was.
The kid hugged the leg of the women as thats all she could reach, and all the woman and man could do was smile.
The world faded and the present day soulless world came back into view.

Salazar's eye opened as he backed away from the statue.
"...So those three...were the family that got executed by Verrader back on Umbrial? Atleast, this other version of that family before they reincarnated again? If that voice that talked to us in our dreams is the same woman, that is..." Calypso asked.
"...If it isn't them...then alternatively, that man could be Messorem, atleast before he gained that appearance in that nightmare on Black Ice. It seems this world was full of life before it became...like this." Salazar said, his words almost sounded like a whisper.
"So what the hell happened to this place before it turned into the Soulless World? What could of caused this?" Hermes asked.
"I believe we will find that out soon." Kalfu said, as he looked at the ruined village that din't appear to be too far away from them.
"..." Samantha grabbed onto the two large braids covering her eyes, keeping them in place as she shoulders heaved. "I don't understand any of this.." She muttered, lowering her head. "But it's whatever. I don't care, you're all here now, I'm here too."
With that, she cast another glance at the statues, before plodding along after the others.

Slyfers expression couldnt be seen, he simply walked ahead after looking at Salazar.
As they walked to what was left of the villiage, it seemed some kind of meteor shower was happening, but upon further inspection it seemed like something was coming out of the Black Hole in the sky above, it wasnt clear what though.
As they reached the city there wasnt much to see, the buildings were in such bad shape it was impossible to tell what they were, all charred and black, rubble and bones.
The only thing remotely intact was the well that sat in the villiage center, notably it had the same kind of faint energy the statue did, no doubt containing another memory.
