Erinye was clutching her necklace, looking down at the sand beneath her feet as they walked."..I bet they all bathe way less than we do.." She muttered beneath her breath.
Theseus placed a hand on her shoulder as they approached the temple.
"..What's with this guy?" Diana asked, giving the back of Etanfe's head a strange look. She looked up at the clean-shaven man he was yelling at. "Hey, is this guy bugging you?"

The tall shaved man, who appeared to have blocked out Etanfe’s voice entirely noticed Diana and the rest of the Royal Guard as they grabbed his attention.
“Huh, oh, hello, you four are new here, ya? You are the helpers who will help the two women capture those crazy goons, right?” The guy asked.
“Well, I suppose you could say that.” Hercule said with a shrug.
“Hey, I’m talking to you! Now answer me, why isn’t Hikrat doing anything about this situation? No one claimed Minkah’s element yet and the dead are becoming stronger with each passing day, why aren’t you out there to defeat those things, aren’t you one of those guardian guys?” Etanfe asked.
The man sighed.
“Look, I may be a guardian but I can’t do anything about it without his majesty’s say so, I’m a single man and there are plenty like me out there, why don’t you ask them for help?” The man asked.
“I would if I knew where to find them, just let me see Hikrat, will you?” Etanfe asked.
“Sorry, but I believe the big man said that you and your goofy friend with the weird fingers aren’t allowed near this temple, and you have to get past me to see him so what’s your call?” The man asked, placing his knuckles on his hips.
Etanfe’s cheeks turned red as he stomped the ground in frustration.
“Bah, you’re useless!” Etanfe declared.
He then turned around and only now he noticed that the Neonytes were standing behind him at this point.
“Oh, it’s you two losers, I see you decided to crawl out of the rocks you were hiding under this whole time.” Etanfe said, referring to Hercule and Dietz.
“Calling us “losers” is pretty much the pot calling the kettle black, fatass, you came out on 8th place in that Tournament. How’s that working out for you?” Dietz asked, sticking his finger into his ear.
“Mhhh, that’s irrelevant! I don’t care about that stupid competition, now tell me why are you guys here and who are these four supposed to be, your entourage?” Etanfe asked, crossing his arms as he stared at the rest of the group.

"Why, you jealous?" Diana asked, smiling at 3-mouth smile of hers.
"We are not their entourage." Bacchus frowned, moving Diana aside and walking up to Etanfe. "We're members of the new neonytian Royal Guard, and we're here to see the emperor."
"Pharoah." Erinye corrected him.
"We're here to see the pharaoh." Bacchus corrected himself. "To 'help the two women capture those crazy goons', as this guy here so eloquently put it."

Etanfe did not look impressed.
"If this is the help we're getting, we might aswell ask that looney tune with growth power for assistance." Etanfe said.
He then turned back to the man.
"Look, we have to solve this sooner or later, if this keeps up there is a chance that prophecy written in the tablet might come true!" Etanfe said.
"Nah, that's just some stupid fairy tale made up to scare children, it's not real. Can you please go?" The man asked.
"Tch, fine!" Etanfe said, giving up.
Etanfe shoved Bacchus aside as he walked away.
"If this ends up coming back to bite us in the bottom's, I'll head to Universe 9, I'm not gonna be here when things go south and get caught up in it." Etanfe said as he walked out of sight.
"Be sure not to get stuck in the dimensional gateway on your way out." Dietz grinned.
The man sighed in relief.
"Sorry bout that, he kinda of a loudmouth sometimes. Name's Faramond, Guardian of the Pharaoh." Faramond presented himself, proudly placing his fist to his chest.

"I'll say." Bacchus rolled his eyes. "My name is Bacchus. These are my co-workers; Dietz, Theseus, Erinye, Hercule and Diana."
"I've never met a guardian before!" Diana smiled, walking up to him. "Tell me, are they all as muscular as you are?"
"Diana, control yourself." Bacchus groaned.
"Right, right." Diana shrugged, still keeping her amused grin. "Serious mode; what was that guy rambling about?"

"He is just spooked about the undead who are still roaming around zone, as each day passes, someone either dies from a incident, a encounter with those rotten bandits or from old age and their souls get corrupted by the Necromancy curse, the Summoners are doing their best to send their souls to rest." Faramond said.
"Summoners?" Hercule asked.
"People with high potential to sense restless spirits and send them to their resting place, think of them as powerful magicians, magic is common in this world as we don't use machines like in the other worlds to do our job." Faramond explained.
"So, dead people scare that gluttonous turd?" Dietz asked.
"That, and some silly legend that I don't believe it's real, no one actually does. Still, all the people are pretty afraid of what comes in the night, no one is really safe till someone will be able to break the curse. The elders say that the curse is punishment from the Gods for our sins but I doubt that's true, why would Gods punish the innocent for the mistakes of the fools? It doesn't seem right." Faramond said, rubbing his hand against the back of his neck.

"Uh, if you don't mind my asking, what is this 'silly legend'?" Erinye asked, ringing her hands together.

Faramond scratched his head in response.
"Hm, I don't know all the details, but from what I remember, it said that one day, someone or something will descend upon us all to bring forth Destruction on every living being in existence and cause Death, Gloom, Despair and so on. Like I said, nonsense written by some joker who wants attention. I never paid much attention to legends and folklores, you should ask someone else who has knowledge about these things, I'm more of the guardian type of bashing stuff to pieces rather than reading old books. Though, you six want to see the pharaoh, ya? I'll take you to his throne room, two women and a kiddo went in just a few seconds ago before you arrived." Faramond said.

"I assume those three would be the 'backup' from 2." Theseus spoke, having been mostly silent up until now. "It is appreciated, Faramond. You may lead us to the pharaoh."

Faramond nodded as he turned around and walked into the temple, the Royal Guard followed of course.
They were walking into a hallway with lit torches, going past a set of stairs.
"So, Faramond, how long have you been serving the pharaoh exactly?" Hercule asked, curious.
"Oh, about 5 years now. The old bonehead can be a pain to put up with sometimes, but as long as I get to fight strong guys, I say that makes up for it." Faramond nodded.
"Did you choose to be his bodyguard or did he choose you?" Dietz asked.
"The latter. I come from the North, my father sells jewels while my mother keeps home clean, I have a talent at fighting and figured it would be a shame to let it go to waste and so I took up on the offer of joining a all-out battle royale to decide who is the strongest person worthy to protect the pharaoh from threats. Naturally, I won after defeating 30 men at once and so he chose me to be his guardian, then my power was unlocked. See these symbols on me? They are not just ordinary tattoo's, they appeared when I became a guardian and they start glowing when I fight someone. The blood of Carvus runs through me like in all guardians." Faramond boasted.
"Oh, yeah, that pharaoh ghost who randomly showed up and evolved Vixerello's griffon pet when we tried to take the Crest of Structure and then vanished like nothing happened...that was weird." Dietz commented.

"...Excuse me." Theseus said, bringing his hand to his throat. "What's this about a ghost showing up and 'evolving someone's griffon pet'? Nobody ever mentioned that before."
"They skipped over some of the less important details, dad." Erinye sighed.
"Any detail is a important detail, dear." Theseus responded.

"Ugh, Anubis and Izoda fought the kids from 3 at the cave where Hemera was keeping Providentia's crest, Anubis fought Marick's pet and then the ghost showed up to power him up when it was on the ropes and then left just like that. Does that make sense now?" Dietz asked Theseus.
"...I have no idea what you guys are talking about." Faramond said, shaking his head.

"Even less, I'm afraid." Was Theseus's answer. "Why didn't the ghost simply do the fighting itself?"
"Can we just move on from this?" Bacchus asked, hunching over slightly as they walked.

Eventually, the group reached a double door with two statues placed on two sides.
On the left, it was a statue of a man wrapped entirely in bandages except his eyes, wearing a royal robe with a pyramid necklace around his neck and the other statue was Hikrat. The other statue was probably the pharaoh before Hikrat gained the throne.
Faramond opened the door and walked inside and the Royal Guard likely followed.
"Your excellency, we have guests!" Faramond announced.
Hikrat, who was sitting on his throne at the end of the room looked up and Iknaa was standing next to him.
Standing to his right was a woman wearing a black robe with star patterns, a necklace with white and black beads around her neck with soft tanned skin, her robe was covered by her open brown cloak with the hood obscuring her head and holding a beady staff with a glowing crystal sphere on top of it in her left hand, she turned to look at the Royal Guard but her expression was unclear.
At the right side of the room, Garmath and Zeno were standing near a table with fruits on it and Izanami was leaning against the wall with her arms folded, gazing at the Royal Guard with a serious expression as always.
"Ah, you have arrived at last." Iknaa said, cupping her hands together.
Zeno turned to look at the Neonytes and the moment he saw Hercule, his eyebrows lowered.
"...What's he doing here? He is bad, he tried to steal the crest and harm people, he should be punished." Zeno declared, pointing his finger at Hercule.
"H-Hey, getting beam blasted into a wall with rockets exploding on me and getting a free trip to the hospital is punishment enough, I say! And it's not like I suceeded in getting the crest, it was Toros who got in the end, besides I switched sides, honest! Can't we just let bygones be bygones?" Hercule asked, raising his hands in defense.

"He is here to redeem himself, child. To make amendments for his past mistakes." Theseus spoke up, taking a step forwards. He blinked, before continuing. "Your name is Zeno, correct. It is nice to meet you. As nice as it is to meet everyone else in this room of course."
He looked from Garmath- standing next to them, to Izanami, and then to those at the throne. "Pharoah. My name is Theseus."
