I love scar origin stories and I chuckled at Hector's throwaway thought line of Annie being careless with how she covered her tracks. Noooo, an 8 year old being careless??? Never!
But, yeah, I didn't dislike the chapter per se... it's just that Silas most definitely would have murdered Hector. Probably tortured him beforehand. Hector was the man who took Sanctum down from the inside; the traitor. There is no Fall of Sanctum without Hector. Silas has grounds to hate Hector even more than Vince and company. I can't disagree there. Logically speaking Hector would be so dead, but the story needed him alive. I'm not pleased with how I handled it but I did what I could with what I'd established before hand.

Hector lives! Are you planning on introducing all the POV characters first before repeating them, or will we be seeing more of Hector or Freya before all the other's are introduced?

There might be another chapter tomorrow, but IRL stuff is going on too so I doubt it.

Dunno if anyone will consider this a spoiler, but it concerns the chapter I'm currently writing and its POV character. Freya just became easier/more interesting to write. IDK if you'll work out why.
Spoiler Freya survives long enough to have another chapter from her perspective.

It certainly had potential... I seriously liked her POV a lot. And well... She is the King's daughter...

You probably guessed Sonja would return in some capacity, but I bet you also thought she would be a POV character.

Sonja Didn't saw that one coming... Also Sasha makes pre Shel-shock (sorry for the HORRIBLE pun) Becca look pleasent... That't probably just me... (Nah, I'm just kidding she deffinitevely isn't.) Silas was a VET?! Well maybe she was refearing to Curtiss or someone else, but IDK... (Also Sonja seems at least more likeable than Jane, tough I guess that ain't hard) Also Sonja's hair cut seems... Familiar to say the least.

Familiar to say the least. Yeah, Silas was a war vet. I dunno which war he fought in, but it was probably some time in the late 70s to early 90s considering he was born in '63. Now you know why Sanctum wanted him.
Also I was aiming for Sasha to be kind of annoying, but in sort of an endearing way.

Early 90's? Desert Storm fits the bill...
I found kinda interesting that so far any POV is even close to be contemporary with one another...
Really looking forward for more.

HOLY SHIT IT'S SONJA! Did NOT see that coming! I never really hated her back in Season 2, so I like the direction you're taking with her. I'd love to see her and Sasha run into Freya at some point.

Cool. Can't wait to see when/if things will start to connect.

First war that popped into my mind was the Korean War. Apparently that ran from '50-'53, which tells me I am an embarrassment with history.
I like this tandem. It's fun to read.

I like this tandem. It's fun to read. I think my grandad had something to do with the Korean War. I don't know that much about it, though.
I think for Silas I'll probably go with the Gulf War like Hunter said.
