So... Uh... I know it's a little late... But I just watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Great movie: I loved the characters in the movie. Finn, Rey, Po, Han, Chewy... GOD, Chewy had a better role in this movie than in any of his other appearances. He actually had character beyond big scary monster man. I never really cared for Chewy before this movie, but now I fucking love him. I'm super curious to see what Luke has to say, to see what kind of person Snope or whatever his name was really is going after. I'm curious to see just how quickly Ren goes back to the light side, since he's obviously WAYYY weaker in his convictions than Vader was. I'm curious to see if Han is TRULY dead. I'm so curious. What an effective intro episode. Better than any TTG episode 1. Yeah, Han is dead for good. Trust me. He got impaled, thrown into the chasm, then Starkiller Base exploded. Plus, one of Harrison Ford's conditions for doing the movie was that Han would die. He's been trying to get Han killed since Return of the Jedi was being filmed. So, yeah, he's not coming back, but I'm okay with that. I just hope they don't kill off any of the other OGs now that Han is gone. |

His death was different. We saw him get sublimed by the lightsaber. For all we knew at that point, that was what a lightsaber death looked like. We knew he was dead. |

Obi-Wan was dead. Dead as bantha shit. He's literally a ghost. And he's only a ghost because he's a powerful Jedi. Just because characters can come back from and survive seemingly impossible situations in The Walking Dead doesn't mean the same holds true for Star Wars. The two are different in nearly every single way. And, again, Ford has wanted Han Solo to die, as in really dead for good, for three decades by this point. Say sayonara to Solo, 'cause he ain't coming back. |

Well just saw the entire film, that was sure something. I thought the first half was good, not amazing but good. Second half though... holy fuck was that amazing. And yeah... look I came in expecting a lot of people to die, but not EVERYONE! It seriously went full Wild Bunch and I really respected that. Like a lot, I think I might have enjoyed it more then TFA. Hell, maybe more then ROTJ. Very very good, always wanted an actual war film in the Star Wars universe. Also PS FOR ROCK! That ship at the end looked A LOT like the star ships from KOTOR! You know the one, the hammerhead style ships. That was unexpected yet awesome. |

She's been struggling with Health Issues a long time. It's still sad, because she was my favorite part of the entire Star Wars media circus. She just seemed so down-to-earth and calm when Force Awakens arrived. I liked seeing her again. |
