So I logged into SWTOR a little while ago to see what everyone was saying about her death, and it turns out that tons of players were traveling to Alderaan in-game and having a little memorial service in Organa Castle there. I decided to go. Players from both sides of the in-game conflict were there and everyone was just... chilling, taking a load off, and talking about Carrie.
It felt a bit weird but also... I dunno. Nice.

So, I saw Rogue One a bit ago... and I liked it. I thought the action sequences were pretty sick. My main problems were I did not give a fuck about any of the characters. Darth Vader was the best character, and he was in it for two minutes. The main character, Jin Ursaw or whatever was annoying and I could not care about her.
But ye, I thought the story was fairly interesting.

I didn't even find Jyn that annoying. She was just cardboard. I've never seen a blander, more faceless protagonist. Maybe that's what they were shooting for, I don't know.

Pretty much my thoughts on all the characters except K-2SO, the reprogrammed Imperial droid. Now whenever he was onscreen I enjoyed it, but what else can you expect from Alan Tudyk? Everyone else was just... meh. |
