Oh, and while I certainly don't hate Revenge of the Sith, its better then that movie by a pretty good amount. There is no massive tone problems, or complete idiot moments by supposed smart people.

Seen it, it was great. Better than all of the prequels combined you'll be glad to hear. And Kylo Ren was awesome, kinda guy you love to hate, in fact all of the new main characters are pretty damn great. The only real thing I properly disliked was the ending, not that what happens is bad but it's just such a shitty way to end. I was okay with the ending. It wasn't perfect, there were some conveniences, mostly towards the end, but the original movies did just as much. Yes its similar to the original, no its not copy and paste. Yes I want it to be different from now on, but it perfectly jumpstarts the series. Oh, and I loved Kylo Ren, but all the new characters were great. And for the record, no matter what flaws you find, it will never be within lightyears of Jar Jar or Jake Loyd/Hayden Christanson. I didn't hate Hayden Christanson personally, I mean his acting was iffy at the best of times but almost no one's acting in that movie was particularly great and when it came to saying a lot with nothing he nailed it, I think most of the bad acting was due to bad directing but I could be wrong. So yeah, I don't think he was the worst thing to come from the prequels, Jar Jar takes that award by a long stretch.

Oh, and warning to everyone, when we assumed that Captain Phasma, was going to be the new Boba Fett, the writers may have taken that statement a bit to literally. She doesn't do anything, I mean nothing of note. So you should just be aware of that, and not go in expecting a lot of badass moments.

Fucking Sam Jackson wasn't good, and I LOVE Samuel L Jackson. Shame that it ruined his career forever, he seemingly never got another chance. Yes, bad directing can ruin great actors, its happened before the prequels and after.

Fucking J.J Abrams. That is not a face Han Solo should EVER make.
Honestly, even when he was lowered into carbonite he kept his cool.

I think it was because it was so out of nowhere, with the carbonite he knew it was coming whereas with that it looked like he'd convinced Ren and then it just happened. It seemed normal to me anyway, even for Han Solo.

Just came back from seeing it, HOLY SHIT was this great! Never been so happy to see a Star Wars Film in my life! Definitely tied with Ep. III for my favorite movie.

Despite how awesome that movie was, I have to agree that was the only part I truly hated. I mean all Brienne of Fucking Tarth does is open a fucking door and gets blown up with the planet?! WEAK. Though I guess the soon-to-be new EU will explain more of her.
EDIT: Gwendoline Christie confirmed that Phasma will appear in Ep. VIII, so there's hope for her yet!

I've decided to spoil the whole movie by copying the wikipedia text into Google translate and setting it to Arabic. Now I can spoil people and sound like a terrorist

There's a guy in the YouTube comments with his name set as one of the biggest spoilers in the movie, seriously what is the fucking point.

Just saw it (Thankfully I was able to go in pretty much unspoiled, because I internet gud), and I gotta say it was a great fucking movie. Can't wait for Episode VIII. The new characters are all great, and I'm surprised at how much I like them. And now the spoilery bit... FUUUUUUUCK Kylo Ren. Seriously. I can't even say that I didn't see it coming, but still. I was waiting for that one moment to happen pretty much the entire film but the way it happened made me goddamn despise Ren. Here's hoping Luke fucking decapitates that sniveling cunt in the next movie.

I really hope he dies in the slowest most painful way possible though.

Sure, he kills Han Solo, but that was just out of nowhere and nobody (As in, the characters) saw it coming. And when he went up against Finn, Finn wasn't even a Jedi and still managed to hold his own for a bit. In his only real fight that's more or less on even terms, against Rey, he gets his ass handed to him within minutes. As soon as she tapped into the Force he was essentially curbstomped, and she would have killed him had he not gotten lucky with the planet blowing up.
As it is, he's better than the prequel villains but still doesn't hold a candle to Vader and the Emperor.
