It's a thing, and i decided to make a thread on it now that there's actually some info on it. Neil Druckman who wrote the game is writing the script, it's being produced by Sam Raimi and apparently they've talked with Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones' Arya Stark) about playing Ellie, also apparently people want Hugh Jackman to play Joel, I can get behind that. I'd prefer Josh Brolin for Joel. Maisie Williams as Ellie excites the fuck outta me.
I hope this is good. I really do. Neil Druckmann writing it gives me hope, as does the fact that he gets the final say on a director.

I can safely say that it has potential to be the best video game movie, its not saying much but it does seem good, and even if its bad, Arya will do well, there is no way she will be the weakest link, impossible. |

FUCK I remember Ellen Page tried to sue Naughty Dog for using her likeness on Ellie(They do look very similar but i still think it's stupid reason to sue someone) so i think she's ruined any chance she would have had. |

Well for me, I am pretty much like Two Best Friends, I utterly hate David Cage and his games, Heavy Rain was okay in my book, a lot didn't make sense and I didn't like most of the character, but the idea is good, if it had been TWD level characters it would have been fantastic, and the twist was dumb, the first game he made, well it just lost me half way, and Beyond Two Souls, fuck me I can't tell if that was worse, or the first was, so many plot holes, so many pointless scenes, you think choices don't matter in TWD? Oh just you wait, fucking hell it didn't let me tell the love interest to fuck himself, no matter what I said, he loved me, hell in the end he loved me, and I didn't want that! Also unlike Heavy Rain, you can't die, at all, you can not touch the controller and nothing changes, what, the, fuck!

I think i remember hearing him say something along the lines of "any game that has a game over has made a mistake" i don't know the exact quote, but going by that almost every game ever is shit and only his games are good. |
