This is my first attempt at a fanfic, I've just written the very short prologue. The prologue gives you an idea of the setting, the premise, and the style of writing. I may or may not continue the story, depending on whether people like the prologue or not. Feel free to criticise anything, from the premise to my writing style. And take note that the actual parts of the story(part 1, part 2, etc) will be much longer than the prologue. ___________________________________________________________________________ NOTE: This work of fan-fiction takes place between The Walking Dead Game episode 1 and 2, and assumes that Lee made the choices that the majority of players chose. This means he sided with Kenny in the pharmacy and saved Carley over Doug.___________________________________________________________________________ Prologue / Part 0 Lee was in shock. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. Doug had died almost 3 months ago, and yet he appeared to be standing right in front of him. "Oh my god... Doug...", muttered the confused and frightened Lee, "I.. I thought you were dead." "I am", came Doug's response, to Lee's confusion. "You killed me. That day... 2, nearly 3 months ago. In the pharmacy. Why, Lee? Why did you kill me?" "I... no... that's not.... aagh!" Lee felt sick to his stomach, and his vision was getting out of focus. "You can't save anyone", sneered Doug, "especially not that little girl you got with you. She's as good as dead. Dead girl walking. Walking dead." "No... that's not it", responded Lee wearily, "I couldn't save you both! I had to make a choice!" Doug was not amused. "You decide who lives and dies? Is that why you killed Sam, the senator?!" "No... Doug... I..." Before Lee could finish explaining himself, he fell to the ground. Then he woke up. He was in the Travelier Motel, where everybody had been staying since the drug store incident. It had all been a dream- Doug hadn't come back as a ghost. As a zombie, sure, but not a ghost. But now that Lee was awake, ghosts were the least of his worries. A storm was brewing, and somebody had to put a stop to it. To Be Continued

Wait, last time I checked the majority of players saved Duck at the farm. Furthermore, most people sided with Kenny in the end, but decided to "reason with Larry", causing them to disagree with Kenny.
My advice: fix the biggest mistake in season one. If someone says they should reason with Larry, but at the end of the fight, chew Larry out or tell Kenny to hit him, it counts as if they sided with Kenny.

Okay, I fixed the Larry/Kenny thing.
As for the farm, 49% chose Duck and 51% chose Shawn, but that choice isn't going to come into play anyway. Some of the choices are, but some aren't.

Actually, fuck it, only two choices are going to have any impact- siding with Kenny, and the Carley/Doug choice. And even then, the impact of the first of those two is debatable, I think Lee can still be Ken's pal and Larry's enemy even if he sides with Larry.

These things always seem bigger in WordPad than they actually are. That's pretty annoying. Well, at least this is longer than Part 0(the prologue)- more than 3 times longer, actually.
Part 1Lee got out of bed, still recovering from the nightmare. He felt a bit dizzy and had a temperature, but that wasn't what concerned him the most. He was most concerned by the sound of Larry, Lilly and Kenny all shouting in the middle of the night. After dressing himself, Lee walked down into Lilly's room, where the three were arguing. Larry and Lilly were ganging up on Kenny about something, but Lee didn't know what. He approached them and told them all to calm down and shut up. Kenny was the first to object to Lee's interjection, yelling "How the fuck am I supposed to calm down when these two psychos are threatening to kick us out?!" "Oh shut the fuck up, Kenny", retorted Lilly, "We don't have enough food for all nine of us- somebody's gotta go, and I don't see why it shouldn't be you assholes and your families! After all, you're the last ones who arrived in the group!" "That's my girl", said Larry proudly. "Oh come the fuck on", Lee exclaimed, "I saved your ass, Larry! I am the one who risked my ass to get you those motherfucking nitroglycerin pills for your motherfucking heart!" Lilly drew a sharp breath. "Lee, you're not the only-" Before she could finish, Mark interrupted her, rubbing his eyes, having seemingly just appeared out of thin air. "Guys, do any of you realise it's 6AM? You're keeping everyone awake. I don't think-" "Oh, give me a fucking break, not you too!", yelled an angry Kenny. "He's right, Kenny", said Lee, "We could all use some more sleep. Why don't we finish this discussion later?" "There is NOTHING to discuss", yelled Kenny, "we are NOT leaving!", to which Lilly responded with "Then why don't you go and make yourselves useful by hunting some animals for food? You too, Mark!", and the argument ended as everyone went back to their own rooms. Lee laid in his bed, thinking. Thinking about the future, and about the food situation. About Clementine, and how she was coping. About Mark, the mysterious man who had been allowed into the group when he arrived with a box full of food. But that was a while ago now, and while tensions were high, supplies were low. The group might not make it through the season. Lee even wondered if he was going to live much longer. And after a bit of contemplation, he finally fell asleep. Lee was awoken by somebody knocking on the bedroom's door. He still didn't feel too well, but he felt better than he had felt earlier. Lee put on some jeans and an old white shirt he had found, telling the person behind the door that he'd be there in a minute. He eventually opened the door, and found that it was Carley who had knocked. "Hey, Lee, I heard that argument earlier. Lilly and Larry want to kick you guys out, huh? That must be rough. Look, I... I want you to have this." She handed him a leather jacket. "I understand that you haven't been feeling too well lately." "Aw, thanks, Car", Lee responded gratefully as he put the jacket on. Carley smiled and walked away awkwardly towards the stairs leading up to her room. Kenny walked up to Lee. "Hey, Lee... wow, nice jacket! Anyway, as I was sayin', we have to go huntin' together, to try an' get our hands on some food. You up for it? You... feelin' okay? Just with how under-the-weather you've been lately, I don't know if-" "I'll be fine", said Lee, interrupting his over-protective friend. "Okay", replied Kenny while handing Lee a hunting rifle, "but don't blame me if your cold gets worse!" Unfortunately, the two didn't find much while they were hunting. A rabbit and a snake, nothing more. Lilly scolded them for this when they got back after an hour in the woods- as if it was somehow their fault most of the animals had already been eaten by scavengers and walkers. "Well", she said with an evil grin, "You two clearly can't pull your weight around here. This demonstration is reason enough to kick you, Katjaa, Duck and Clementine out of the group!" "Well excuse me, princess", came Kenny's response, "it's not like you would have done a better job!" "Shut it, the both of you", intervened Lee. "Lilly, please just give us one more chance. We'll do better this time, I swear! If not, then sure, you can kick us out." This proposal piqued Lilly's interest. "Okay, tell you what- I've got a challenge you two can't refuse..."

Criticism is welcome, by the way...
