I think that if I played this I'd poo myself. It's not terror-inducing like Outlast, Amnesia, or what have you. I'd even say that things don't really get creepy till the second half of the game. And that's just worrying that you'll get caught by a single monster.

It was really scary throughout I liked it. Also, dat ending, I wasn't expecting Mommy to be the monster Great twist!

I've been looking forward to this since last summer, but people are saying it's way too short. Should I wait for the price to drop?

I've been looking forward to this since last summer, but people are saying it's way too short. Should I wait for the price to drop? Wondering the same thing, i've heard both that it's an hour and a half and that it's 3 hours so probably somewhere in-between that.

It's about the length of the first Portal game, so no, not too long. Personally, I really enjoyed it enough for it to be worth the money. Much of the story is told via the environment and the various things that would usually just be considered unimportant decoration, so if picking apart the story is your kind of thing, it's worth multiple playthroughs so you can check out every nook and cranny.

I like that type of storytelling, I call it the Dark Souls story telling, it says very little, but it shows a lot through the environment, which is cool and unique.

It isn't that short. I'd say a good 3 hours if you're not rushing things.

So do you think it's worth the $17?

Reminds me of Pajama Sam only way, way more sinister.

Reminds me of Pajama Sam only way, way more sinister. Yeah! I think it's totally worth buying if the premise interests you. The sounds, visuals, and creepiness factor all really impressed and drew me in. Good scares too, they do a great job building the tension up for the monsters.
