Welcome to the inaugural thread for the movie board, Treasure Planet! Released back in 2002, the movie was actually one of the first two Disney movies I ever saw alongside Lilo & Stitch. After doing some research I actually found out the movie is a sci-fi remake of a old novel called Treasure Island, and the two plots match up almost perfectly. You can probably find it online somewhere if you haven't seen it yet, and here's a trailer if you want an idea of what the movie's like.

It was good, loved John Rzeznik's single from the film. It was a really good movie...I'm pretty bummed it doesn't have a sequel.

I don't remember this movie very well, but I remember it nonetheless.
