Hm tips? Lemme think...Okay:

First off, if you wanna be better, you gotta practice! Get something worth drawing or something inspirational then sketch away
For the hair, I actually find that the 2nd hardest thing to draw...so what I do is just look for a hair then...copy it XD thats all I did.
Always stick to detail, even the smallest ones. Most people take notice of this
If you find it difficult, make outlines/guides before going to the real thing, like this:

See the lines around the faces? Those could help you in a big way.

Draw lightly at first, so mistakes can be easily erased and additional details can be easily added.
Revise, revise, revise. Not every final product can be a masterpiece, so feel free to edit your work and tighten up loose ends.
