Isa nodded. "Easy."
And just like that, the three of them were teleported on top of the carriage as it rode out of castle grounds.
Sage stumbled, almost falling off of it before he grabbed on. Isa grabbed onto his sleeve to keep herself on it as well.
"I don't think your cloaked friend meant 'throw us on top of the carriage'!" Sage hissed at her.

“…Are we still invisible?” Mirai asked her, quietly.

Isa nodded in response.
The carriage turned down a twisting path, heading down the streets of the city. Nobody was looking on top of the carriage, even though a couple of people did stop to look at the carriage itself.

notably, Isa and Mirai might notice a couple of birds in the sky, they looked like Hawks, and were in the air above them, they were high up enough to not really be noticable, to anyone not looking for them.
However, there was an owl that landed on the carriage, it was just casually there.

Mirai stared at the owl.
"...Uh." Mirai said, tilting his head.

The owl, which visually appeared to be an Eagle Owl, seemed to pay no mind to them on the carriage.
It was unclear if it was even aware of their presence, as it was just there, looking off into the distance, seemingly without a care in the world. At the very least it was enjoying the ride.

Isa looked at the owl, then looked over the carriage at the horses...
"I've got an idea." She said.
---
The interior of the carriage was very nice, the windows were blacked out so nobody could see inside and the four seats were all positioned over a table so anyone riding inside of it could enjoy some breakfast or a drink, or maybe just a nice book as they travelled to their destination. The horses reins sat on the headrest between Lady Jade and Lord Kei while she adjusted her braid. Lord Kei had removed his jagged crown, placing it on the table.
Across from them, the two in disguise sat. Deborah with folded arms and the Prince looking out from the window.
"Ugh, how can your warriors even wear this armour? I can hardly breathe in it." Deborah complained.
"You look cool though." The prince offered.
Lady Jade hummed in response, reaching into her sleeve and pulling a small statuette of a horse-headed figure out, placing it on the table.
"Y-...You brought it with you?" Lord Kei asked.
"Of course, sweetie. It's my good luck charm." Lady Jade smiled, placing around his shoulder.
Deborah blinked. "What on earth is it?" She asked.
"I just told you." Lady Jade said, pointedly not answering it as she reached into her other sleeve and pulled the walkie talkie out, it was ringing. "Hold on, I have to take this." She said, pressing a button and holding it to her ear. "Hello?"
"...Oh, that's quite alright, Clover. ... No, no, don't worry your little head about it at all. ... Tell you what, up the security in and around the castle or the next few days and go finish your breakfast, okay honey?" She spoke, it clearly wasn't on stereo setting because nobody else in the carriage could hear a word of it.
Deborah tried and failed to get comfortable, before lifting her head up and looking at the ceiling, Prince Balanque met eyes with Lord Kei, who didn't have any real reaction to the matters at all.
"... Okay, thank you, bye!" Lady Jade cheered, before hanging up and completely changing tones. "Ugh. They lost them." She muttered, slamming it onto the table next to the statuette. "Honestly, to think they roped fucking Sage into this."
"Hey, do you want to hear what I don't get? Why are we running from them? I'm going to want that the elements that girl's gathered anyway." Deborah pointed out, she sounded like she was smiling.
"Look, the plan is to get you into the Lakhani Kingdom. We can't do that if everyone knows you're here." Lady Jade told her, flicking some of her own hair out of the way. Lord Kei slowly sidled away from the conversation.
"It looks to me like everyone knows I'm here anyway, Jade." Deborah spat.
Lady Jady then leaned forwards, "Well, don't forget that we could've just left you to starve in there."
"Speaking of, that's another thing I don't get." Deborah started, placing one of her legs on the table. The armour seemed to get even sharper. "...That guy said she had clairvoyance. The Kraven's, those cowards who let the Colorado kingdom get destroyed had that one, and you're in a alliance with them, correct?"
"W-we told you that-" Lord Kei started.
"Why didn't they do anything to stop you? Not that I don't appreciate it." Deborah asked.
Prince Balanque sighed, leaning back into the chair. The armour stabbed into it the padding that would otherwise make it comfortable. "They thought we would be trapped there forever and were so confident that they didn't look into it. That, and they know the Colorado's were going to attack, didn't they? Maybe that was a priority?"
"Maybe..." Deborah hummed.
And then... the carriage stopped.
---
Isa had used the ability to control animals, the same one that helped them win the fight against the worm to stop the carriage.
"...That was easy." Isa said.
"I wouldn't be so sure of that..." Sage muttered, "This entire carriage, and everything here is made of crystals." He started to explain.
---
"...Oh. The carriage has stopped." Lady Jade sighed. "How annoying."
She pressed a button on the walkie talkie and held it up to her ear. "Hi, yes. Good morning Rajendra, I hate to interrupt you, but our carriage has stopped on the way out of our kingdom so we might be delayed. Thanks for understanding. ...Kei likes his tea without sugar. Thanks, bye," She then hung up.
Deborah's glowing eyes squinted behind the helmet. "...She's on top of the carriage."
"Huh? How can you tell?" Lady Jade asked.
"I can sense... ten, ten or more elements right on top of it. They're so close and they have been for a while. The rest of the fire power, and so much more." Deborah explained, stretching a hand out and running it along the ceiling. "...I still don't get why you wanted us to run." She spoke as though holding back laughter.
"Deborah, don't." Lady Jade asked.
"Avoiding them is meaningless if they can find us with clairvoyance and then teleport to our location." Prince Balanque reasoned.
"Not in the streets of our kingdom." Lady Jade requested, again.
"...Fine." Deborah accepted that, placing both of her hands in her lap. "I'll just get us to our destination then, and if someone falls off on the way, then they'll be able to teleport themselves to safety, is that what you want?"
"That would be... fine, yes." Lady Jade accepted, her grip on Kei's shoulder tensing up.
---
Suddenly, the carriage took off down the road at a blurring speed, dragging the two horses along with it for a moment before the reins slipped out and left the horses lying on the road, knocking other carriages and a few carts of cabbages out of the way. Isa, Sage, Mirai and even the Owl were almost all knocked off from the sheer speed the thing was going at.
The carriage was zooming straight towards a building, what looked to be a bathhouse-... but before it could crash into it the carriage tilted upwards and took off into the sky instead.
"A- L-Liquid diamonds! What are they doing!?" Sage asked, struggling to hold on as the crystal surface of the roof of the carriage evened out starting to get smoother, harder to get a good grip on. That combined with the angle it was flying up at guaranteed that everyone on the roof of the carriage would fall off. And fall off they did.

Mirai looked at the carriage before looking at Isa.
"Teleport us before we crash!" Mirai said.

Isa grabbed onto Mirai, then teleported the three of them (plus an Owl) directly into the carriage.
And as soon as that happened, a armoured hand reached out and grabbed her by the neck. The crown and the statuette both fell off the table onto the floor.
"Oh!" Jade pushed herself back against her seat, pulling Kei away from the scene as she lifted a leg up- kicking at Sage, knocking him off of the table.
"That teleportation's pretty handy, isn't it, Isa?" The armoured figure holding her neck, clearly Deborah asked, as the armour around her hand shattered apart into a set of crystals orbiting around her hand. "I hope you don't mind a little payback-!" Her voice turned harsh as Isa began glowing, and some of that glowing energy started draining out of her down into Deborah's arm.

Deborah got slapped in the face by the swinging sword that caused her head to twist around before Mirai yanked Isa out of her grip and moved themselved away from Deborah.

The rest of the armour was still on, so she was protected from the hit by the helmet. Mirai was still easily able to do the rest of that though as she put her hand on her helmet. The crystal around the hand that had been holding Isa a moment ago quickly reforming back into armour.
"Ah- good, she hardly got any of it!" Isa smiled, as the crystal stalactite on Lady Jade's high heel shot out to stab at the two of them. From Jade's surprised reaction she was not the one who did that.
"Wait, wait, stop! If we start fighting in this carriage we're all going to die!" Lady Jade called out, the stalactite stopped growing just before it could stab anyone. "Deborah, you keep focusing on keeping us afloat! You two!... Sit down?" She requested. "This place is far too cramped for anything like whatever you all were considering."

"...Why would I kill you? You're children." Jade pointed out. "I didn't want to meet you but I don't want to kill you either."
"I-I also... don't want anyone to die..." Lord Kei offered.
Deborah folded her arms. "...What's with the owl?" She asked, flippantly.
"We turned one of your guards into a owl. Hope you don't mind." Isa said.
"...You can do that? Nice." Deborah nodded, actually believing that.

"I'll have you know that this bitch drugged me with some kind of sleeping thing and tried to steal all my elements 5 days ago, so I suppose I'm a bit salty about that, not that I should even be telling you this because -uh- I don't even know who you are?" Deborah leaned forwards.
