In the world of Black Ice, The gang was in the living room of Elias's house, getting ready for their trip to the world of Eilamel. Kullos was taking a drink from his cup, Slyfer and Nakia were sitting in chairs, Ori and Roka were sitting on the floor. Elias himself was also sitting down on a couch, a few baby towers were wandering the mansion.

Samantha was staring intently at one of the baby towers- her expression hidden behind her hair.
Micah was putting some food into a bag, while hunched on the floor near the door to the living room, while Owen was just floating in a corner near Kalfu.
Kita was looking out of the window, a unplacable expression on her face as she rested her elbows on the windowframe.

Salazar was outside, just looking at the baby Towers.
Hermes was also sitting in a chair, looking at his own hands.
Kalfu was reading his big black book of enchantments.
Calypso was standing right next to Samantha.
"...Are you alright?" Calypso asked her.

"...I can't stop thinking about them."Samantha said- not meeting Calypso's gaze and still looking at the Baby Tower. "Just.. everything about them."

"...Yeah. Hopefully, they won't grow up to follow the path of their destructive elders." Calypso said.
"I'm more relieved that we don't have to carry them with us to everywhere that we go to." Hermes said.
"Infants are oblivious to what's going on and slowly begin to comprehend the world they live as they grow older. As they ascent to adulthood, they lose their innocence and have to cope with the reality they are living in and play by the world's rules in order to survive. It seems to be a common thing to children, no matter what species they are from." Kalfu said.

"Indeed, lets just hope their time with us will show them that maybe they dont have to be like their more...destructive kin.
I believe it is allmost time for all of you to head to EIlamel, i think Salazar is outside, perhaps one of you could bring him in here?" Elias asked as he looked at Hermes and Calypso.

Samantha continued to look at the baby tower.
"...You're like..everyone else, in a way."She commented, seeming disconnected from the entire conversation.
"I've packed some food, in case we need to eat stuff and the place we're going uses currency that we just.. don't have, or something like that. y'know.. Or just in case someone's hungry."Micah piped up, looking up from the bag of foodstuff's.

"I'll go." Hermes said, getting up.
Calypso looked at Micah.
"That's a pretty good idea. We'll need all the strength we can get, if Eilamel is as danger as this planet is." Calypso said.
Outside.
Salazar was just looking at the baby towers that were wandering around.
"...You know, I think I'm starting to realize why I'm so interested in these Towers. Like me, you were born mostly to destroy anything in your path and bring forth the extinction of humans of this planet. That's the reason why father decided to have me in the first place...but all of you were spared from doing what your kind is doing right now and have the chance to enjoy your childhood, with a parent who will protect you all from harm...I wish I was that lucky." Salazar sighed.

there was one baby tower in particuler that was close enough to Salazar to hear him. Azure, the firendly tower was also sitting down watching.
That baby tower walked over to Salazar, stumbleing a bit and reached its arms out to salazar, offering a hug.
It would appear the baby tower could somehow understand him and what he was feeling.

Salazar looked at the baby Tower and picked him up, enough to reach his torso.
"...I've done a lot of bad stuff in the past, even killed a few people who din't deserve it...even some who were working under me...and even now the memories still haunt me to this day. You'll probably hear about it from someone or from some other source. I just hope us being here in 13, I'll be able to make amends for everything I've done, I'll need to keep Hermes and Calypso safe, they're my only family now. If I'll ever come back here, I wonder if you'll even be able to recognize me. If not, that's okay too." Salazar said.

the baby tower nodded, suggesting it can and would recognise him if they ever return to black ice.

Salazar smiled slightly at the Baby Tower.
Hermes walked out of the house, turning to Salazar.
"I think everyone is ready to head out to the planet from where those guys in golden armor came from. Let's go." Hermes said.
Salazar nodded as he placed the baby Tower on the ground and looked up at Azure.
"...Be sure to keep these ones out of harm's way till we come back. You are their protector now." Salazar said.
