Well I don't get why you've described it as a fiasco, but that was an interesting read, hearing about all the behind the scenes stuff.

The title of the thread is derived from this quote: Besides, for a game that many named as the best TT game to date (myself included) I can't help but think that it was a literal miracle that the quality of the finale was very good, given that almost the entire staff was taken off the project halfway through the development of the episode. Not to mention the fact that, from what I understood, the final scene of the game was directed/animated by a single guy. That's just... Telltale is a studio that supposedly hires 200+ people and we were told (at the time) by Kevin Brunner that developing several games simultaneously doesn't affect any of the games. This makes me wonder... we don't know how well GOTG sold on consoles, but on Steam it still didn't crack 50k copies. Does that mean that the game will be developed by a basic team of, say, 15-20 people while the other 180 will be relocated to work on Batman/Minecraft because they're more profitable (I guess)? That's a dick move that hurts the game's chance at success.

The way you phrased it in the Batman thread, I thought this would reveal massive creative vs. corporate classes, more than what was said here. Maybe that's my fault.

How did TftB do financially?
I've never played it, but apparently it's a favorite of everyone's.
