cool. anyone know what the song is? Off the top of my head, it is "Dancing in the Moonlight" by... Harvest King, I believe. EDIT: Nope. Turns out it was "King Harvest". To make up for my error and the shame brought upon my family, here's the full song:

More news on the GOTG Telltale Series:
Titled Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, you can expect to see the first episode of this new five-part adventure premiere digitally in 2017 on home consoles, PC, and mobile devices.
What did Telltale and Marvel have to say about the project in the official announcement? Read on…
"The energizing blend of humor, emotion, teamwork, and full-on sci-fi action-adventure of the Guardians provides an enormously satisfying space to explore through Telltale’s unique style of interactive storytelling," said Kevin Bruner, Co-Founder and CEO of Telltale Games. "In Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series, players will take on multiple roles within the ragtag band of heroes, and take the pilot’s seat in directing their escapades around the universe. We are always honored to be working with the best creative partners and storytellers in entertainment, and working with Marvel on this series leaves us excited to share what we’ve been developing when it premieres in 2017."
“With story at the core of everything that Marvel creates, who better to team with than master storytellers Telltale Games,” said Jay Ong, Senior Vice President, Games & Innovation, Marvel Entertainment. “Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series* fully showcases Marvel and Telltale’s rich legacy of storytelling, and fans will find themselves immersed in an original, character-driven narrative. As part of our strategy to establish a new standard for Marvel games, this is certainly among the great titles to come.”*
The series will also hit retail as a special season pass disc, which will include the first episode in the season, and will grant access to the subsequent four episodes as they become available for download via online updates. We’ll have more specific platform details to announce in the coming year.

It's a good song. One of my favorites, too. Yes, I was raised on oldies.

Looking forward to it. Teasers are so stupid though. That's not a Telltale thing, that's an everything thing. We don't need a trailer for the trailer.

Well, that was... disappointing.
I knew that it'll probably be just a teaser, but I hoped for something more. We'll see. If the game will be in the same vein as TFTBL, then it'll consider a purchase.

Ehhh, it was pretty much what I expected. Gotta think they're very early on in development what with Batman and Walking Dead on-going. Everyone is doing this stupid teaser shit these days, from Naughty Dog to the Pirates of the Caribbean movie series.

They never bring up an actual trailer first, they always do something like this. There's going to be radio fucking silence for a long time before we hear anything more about this.

Well, reveal teasers for, say, TFTBL or even TWD3 were more revealing than this... Both of them at least showed us protagonists. This one, though, was just... meh. Even the audience during TGA seemed unimpressed, with almost no reaction to the trailer. No cheering, no clapping, no nothing. At least music was good.

Well TECHNICALLY ANF's teaser showed so much because the release was only like 6 months away. For Batman, GOTG, AND GOT, those are more just "Announcement" trailers. Like they did with Batman, we probably won't be getting any more info on the series until E3, where we'll get a proper Ep. 1 Trailer and all the good stuff like screenshots and cast announcements.

Wow, when I read the title, I assumed it was a joke. Is Guardians of the Galaxy really big enough to attract a significant number of gamers?
