Oh, and a question for when people who saved Gabriel play the episode: Is it still Petra who shows up at the temple with Wither Sickness? I know Dave Fennoy said something about recording lines for Minecraft, so that would seem to suggest Petra and Gabriel are determinant, but considering how quickly Episode 2 came out, he could have been talking about Episode 3, and it's possible that we'll meet him in The End. I don't know, as I didn't bother to keep an alt save file. Gabriel shows up with Wither Sickness if you saved him instead.

So uh, this was a good piece of filler...
Just to me it felt like a short "Part 2" of Episode 1, but it was still interesting, nothing mind blowing. I'd give it an 8.5/10 Choices:

My choices I thought it was an OK episode. I think my only problem with this series is that it feels a bit too sluggish most of the time.

I'm the only one who thinks Ivor is a pretty cool villain?

I'm the only one who thinks Ivor is a pretty cool villain? I really like Ivor so far. Hope to get more of his backstory soon.

I'm the only one who thinks Ivor is a pretty cool villain? Well it doesn't get any better than being voiced by PeeWee-freaking-Herman himself Here's how he ranks on my list of best Telltale Villains: 1. Carver 2. Handsome Jack 3. Ivor 4. Vazquez 5. Gryff 6. Bloody Mary 7. Ludd 8. Finch/Kroger 9. Crooked Man 10. Campman 11. Vallory

I'm not won over by Ivor as a villain. Honestly, he seems pretty generic. In fact, nothing of the story is really original in any way. :/ And it's presentation isn't great either....
Like I said, if this game succeeds, it will be because of its choices. At least, that's my impression so far.

This is what I thought TFTBL would be like when it was first announced.

This game isn't ambitious at all. The story is basic. There doesn't appear to be much character development with the non-Order cast of friends. The episode felt like it was 30-45 minutes. I'm not holding a grudge or anything... speaking from the heart here. That was the least impressive Telltale episode of all-time. I didn't feel sucked in at all. Felt like they just shit the episode out. Definitely feeling a cash cow vibe.

Yeah, sounds like they just rushed the episode out. Heard the lip-syncing is downright terrible. And stuff was glitching alot.

Eh, Smoke and Mirrors still had a few good scenes, like the interrogation scene, and the bar scene.
