Okay then, just keep on being civil. On the subject of MC, how long was the episode for you? Because for me it was rather short, not Cry Wolf, but not far off. 1 hour and 5 minutes for me. The greifer battle with Ultra Magnus and the showdown with Ivor in the end were the highlights for me. I stand corrected, that IS as long as Cry Wolf. I was roughly 70 minutes, very very short. But nowhere near as great as Cry Wolf, so I don't think it actually makes up for it. Strange question, did you see any reviews for the episode? I didn't, and metacritic doesn't even have a page for it, odd.

Gameinformer is the only one I've seen review it, and they gave it an 8.5 because even though it was short, they liked how the choices really shaped how this episode played out.

Really? I don't remember an IGN, Polygon, Kotaku, Jimquisition, anything. Hell, I only knew what the general consensus was, through friends! I have no words to describe how strange that is, and GOT has a metacritic page for each episode, no so much here. The fuck?!?

It's hilarious watching the Telltale Twitter page retweet site after site giving the Borderlands finale amazing reviews along with dozens of other retweets of critics calling it a potential Game of the Year....... and then seeing them retweet the, like, three sites that positively reviewed Minecraft or gave it any attention at all.

I stand corrected, don't know how I missed that. Well, a 51 seems about right. This game is what I thought TFTBL would be like quality wise.

So I played the first episode...
It was not a major disappointment, but only because my expectations were already really low. The voice acting was pretty good and the story itself is interesting, but that's about it.
The graphics work if you play Minecraft, because it's just about building shit, but they are not enough to carry a story. I just cannot take what's happening seriously, which is kind of unfortunate because the game takes it really serious for some reason I don't know. Hell, Tales from the Borderlands had more humor than this game.
Also, the license is kind of wasted. I honestly expected something like Lego Movie: The Telltale Game, but I got.... I dunno what I got. The whole game lacks some sort of identity. It feels completely exchangeable.
5/10 for the first episode. I'll play the second one this weekend.

Nah it's not his fault, he's missing out. Yeah. He's too artsy when it comes to things.

So, episode 2 was good. At the convention in Redstonia, some inventions I saw there looked promising while others that had me thinking, "What is the point to that?", like the cow-launcher for example. it took a long time for me to figure out where to find all the materials I needed to craft a repeater, just because I didn't wanna steal the one that disco scientist was using. It was funny how Olivia got so excited to meet Ellegard, she fainted. One day, I might redo the episode in going to find Magnus first instead of Ellegard. I was glad to see that Petra made it back okay. Though, I feel bad Gabriel didn't. I'm assuming that he would be there if I saved him instead. I was a little surprised to see that Axel had went and got Magnus while I was away, but at least Axel saved me the trouble of having to go get him, too. To me, he's a lot like Axel, but way more obnoxious, while Olivia is like Ellegard, but not as confident. I really wonder what issues Magnus and Ellegard have against each other. Can't we all just get along? It was so funny to me how they called Soren's Formida-bomb the "F-bomb". Hope I can find this guy soon, and that this "F-bomb" is the key to stopping the Wither Storm. Right now, I'm really concerned about Petra because of this Wither sickness she's gotten from after I saved her. Really hope there's some type of cure for it. What also worries me is how she doesn't want me to mention it. I was real satisfied how Petra and I got to kick Ivor's ass. Too bad he managed to cheat his way out with that slow-mo potion he used on the whole gang. This isn't over yet! MY CHOICES:-Used the sword to reflect the ghast's fireballs. Wanted to save my arrows for another time. -Crafted a repeater. I refused to steal. -Helped Ellegard craft a command block. I came to her for her help, and I agreed with her idea. -Left immediately at night. I wanted to stay ahead of that Wither Storm. -Followed after Ellegard. I've been trusting her a lot in the episode so far. Figured I might as well keep it up. -Tried to stop Ivor from leaving and told Petra I'm not letting him leave either. That jerk's got a lot to answer for.

They get better in Episode 3.
