Rock, Carlos and I just played such a kickass run. We played a permadeath run, on The Parish. There were so many tense moments.
We started the run by killing Rochelle, because fuck the AI.
In level one, Rock and I were running through the hedge labyrinth, when we noticed that Carlos had gone. Turning around, we saw a horde in between us and him, and a smoker holding him down. Rock and I fought valiantly to wipe the horde. Alas, it was too late. Carlos had died on level one.
While on the highway just before the graveyard, I was incapacitated by a jockey, and Rock was still down in the car park. He rushed up the ladder, two-shot the jockey, and then, a smoker showed up. I tried to shoot at him, but he was hid just behind a pole, so I couldn't hit him. Then I heard him shoot his tongue. Rock just barely managed to focus the smoker down, before reviving me, and us moving on our merry way.
I forget which level this was in, but regardless... I had 20 health, Rock was near full, and there was a horde in between us and the safe house. I had no health kit, only pills, so I popped them. Then, Rock and I had been separated in the horde. I was trying to squeeze through an opening, but was caught by one zombie, then the entire horde. I shouted for help, and Rock came in, spraying and praying. My health was dropping rapidly, 34. 20. 16. 7. 4. I was screaming for Rock's help, and then, suddenly, I had another pill. I popped it immediately, and we fucked right off.
My favorite part, though, was during the finale. I had fallen behind Rock, when a tank spawned. As I began to catch up with Rock, I saw him climbing up the ladder on the back of a truck, and the tank hot at his heals. While on top of the truck, the tank threw some concrete, making him still on the truck when I got there. A horde was directly behind me, so turning back and waiting was not an option. Instead, I climbed on top of the truck, and just barely managed to sneak by him. As he exited my FOV, I saw him turn his attention to me. I was entirely sure he was going to knock me into the Atlantic, but he didn't. Instead, I heard him tear up more concrete for throwing, so I made a mad dash for the next piece of bridge. Unfortunately, almost too late, I noticed a small gap between the truck and the bridge. My twitch reactions kicked in just on time, and I leapt. Rock was waiting for me just ahead, and together, we nabbed some heroin, and shot up. Then, Armed With Death started playing as the helicopter kept threatening to leave us. Just in time, though, Rock and I were able to both get in. Watching that bridge explode has never been more fulfilling.

You forgot the car park in level 3, where we were in a walled in area and surrounded by alarmed cars which is normally bad enough, but the director was feeling extra dickish and spawned a tank right in the middle of all the alarmed cars. But despite some close calls and a bad choice or two, we managed to beat the tank with just the two of us without even setting off any of the alarms.

"Rock and I fought valiantly to wipe the horde. Alas, it was too late." Oh yeah, wiping the horde and leaving me behind for death are definitely the same term.

You accidentally set off the car alarm and while you and I pushed forward to the safe house, Carlos fell back into the restaurant without any support and was grabbed by a smoker. By the time you and I realized he'd been left behind it was too late to do anything. We fought our way back through to the restaurant just in time to see him die, then we fucked off to the safe house.

I'll play it sooner or later, it's just a friend of mine has finally bought Chivalry Deadliest Warrior after me telling him to buy it for weeks, so I've been playing a lot of that.
