Well, we had to replace the router. So I've yet to watch Only God Forgives. From what I saw of it, it's a great movie.
Instead, I re-watched Drive, and found out that my mom and brother don't like it. :/

Anyone see unfriended yet? Seems like a rediculously funny horror movie. Planning on going to see it this weekend with a few friends. I've heard about it. I'm interested, but I'll probably only watch it if it comes out on Netflix or something.  |

I'm interested in seeing this movie. Looks pretty cool, and it's from Radius TWC(Horns, Snowpiercer, Only God Forgives).

Well, I finished watching Only God Forgives. Fantastic movie, but from what I can see, a very divisive one. People either loved it or hated it. I assumed that it's about average reviews were because people were giving it average reviews, but it's more like an equal amount of people who hated it and people who loved it.
It's very dark, and there's a lot more going on than you may think at first. I'm not quite sure what to make of it right now, and I'll probably watch it again to get a better understanding of it.
One thing I will say, is that this movie is more like hotline Miami than Drive was. I still love Drive, but come on, that movie was half about Irene and the Driver, and the action doesn't start until quite a ways in. And while Drive has a very distinctive style, it's a very different one from Hotline Miami. This is a lot closer.
I loved the style, the cinematography, the symbolism, and all the bloodier parts are pretty great too.
One thing I will say about the movie is that it's... disturbing, to say the least. It just doesn't feel quite right, but I get the feeling that that was the point.
Also, the ending is.... well, I don't think it's bad or good, I just expected something a little different, and i'm not sure what to make of what I got.

Also, the fact that Radius TWC has been involved with now three movies that I'd put in a top ten list means that I'm probably going to watch It Follows. Congratulations Radius TWC, you are now my own Telltale of movies.

Huh, out of curiosity, I decided to look up if there was going to be a movie for the sequel to Drive(the book).
Apparently, Driven is being adapted as a movie, but neitherNeither Nicolas Winding-Refn or Ryan Gosling are working on it.....
This makes me wonder how the story will play out, since there are differences between the book and the film...
Also, Nicolas Winding-Refn technically owns the "Driver" character and has said that he has plans to use him in different movies.. so that might be confusing.
And apparently, Refn is working on a horror film called The Neon Demon. So that's cool.
