The fact that they went straight to the year 1986 baffled me, not just because of Operation Charybdis but because it also reduced Woods escape from Hanoi Hilton to a few seconds of pre-mission cinematics... I guesws that we will have to use our imagination to fill in the gaps. If there's gonna be a "past" segment I expect that it would be closer to the BO2 main time period than to the 70's and basically act as a prologue to the rest of BO3 like the 1986 segment in Black Ops 2 and the Project Nova mission in BO1. Also lets be honest, they did bring back Woods because people like him, he probably should have died. And if not that, then the Russian guy REALLY should have been dead, that was a retcon and a half, still loved Black Ops 2 more then I was expecting, best campaign in quite sometime. I'm not kidding, the choices REALLY MATTERED! You could get a shit ending, or a great ending, and several people can be alive or dead, and to get the best ending, you got to let some people die, I love that! I never even touched the campaign, I might just try it some day, sounds interesting.

I'm not kidding, the choices REALLY MATTERED! You could get a shit ending, or a great ending, and several people can be alive or dead, and to get the best ending, you got to let some people die, I love that! Well, according to the BO1 Intel the CIA did know that Frank Woods was alive and beign held in Hanoi Hilton in early 1978. Yet in the BO2 storyline he manage to escape before 1978 (he was already operating for the CIA in 1975). That kinda screwed everything up since it just seems hard to believe that Mason and particullary Hudson would had ingored the fact that Woods had been working for 3 years for the CIA by 1978. It also made Mr X message pointless because he was already outside of Hanoi Hilton way before 1978... Maybe it was supposed to be a trap, maybe the CIA kept Woods escape as a secret and duped Mason, Wiever and Hudson to think that he was still imprissoned in Hanoi Hilton so they could try to capture/eliminate them if they tried to rescue him... Maybe it was actually the Soviets the one that sent the message to try to lure them in... Or maybe they just decided to did away with the whole intel storyline which seems WAY more likely and try to do damage control by skipping David Mason mother's identity, Wiever's fate, John Trent, and the whole Charybdis plot. If the latter is correct I can't just wait to see the inconsistences that BO3 will bring to the table...

Well back in WAW days, I don't think they had it all planed out, besides, Der Reise was not suppose to be the last DLC, the first map in BO was suppose to be the last DLC, but they figured November would be far to close to MW2. The Moon ending I frankly didn't hate, I saw it as a massive cliffhanger, and I was okay with that, sure they never followed up on that (I mean fucking hell, those characters were the best, and they replaced them with a MUCH weaker cast for the vast majority of BO2) but whatever, the maps were great. Hell I absolutely LOVED the stand alone story we got in Mob of the Dead, it was pretty sweet, and Buried was so well designed, I FUCKING LOVE the haunted mansion they got there. Origins was fanfuckingtastic! I loved it so much, from the soundtrack, to the atmosphere, I mean its diesel punk World War I, it made me think that if they did a World War I Cod, it would be great! Just one problem... THE ENDING FUCKING SUCKED! I don't mean no resolution! I don't mean massive cliffhanger, I mean they flat out said ITS ALL A FUCKING DREAM! I read that on the internet while I was looking for a walkthrough on how to do the Easter Egg, and I swear to fucking god that if I had beaten the Easter Egg and gotten that ending, I would have thrown the console out a window in a rage! THAT IS BULLSHIT! People hated Mass Effect 3s ending, I thought it was okay with all the DLC, so I wasn't beyond pissed, this though, this was MY Mass Effect 3. I got into Mass Effect in 2013, I had been playing COD Zombies since 2009! So it was more personal, and I still can't comprehend the thought process that went into making that the ending. No really, they flat out said that none of this is real, and that everyone's favorite characters WERE DOLLS! They didn't exist, its all the product of the imagination of an 8 year old girl...bullshit! Well Richtofen technically existed as her brother, Maxis is her dad, and Fluffy is her dog, but yes I see your point, it was a shit ending. Me and my friends actually did Easter Eggs as soon as the steps were released, so imagine my surprise when the entire series was just a game. So anyway, for BO3 zombies, what do you think the story will be? Personally, I think it may involve somehow having the Original Crew come to life or something, which would explain how Samantha said at the end that Maxis had a plan for whatever danger they were in. You know what really makes me believe that the ending was so lazy, rushed, and not thought out? There are a million holes in it that can be picked apart so damn easily. No really, if everything you see is the imagination of an 8 year old girl, then how the hell did she know stuff like JFK being president, the Cold War, George Romero becoming a famous director, the Berlin Wall, China becoming a communist superpower and knowing exactly what Beijing's skyline would look like from the late 90s. onward. Or how about all the guns? She just thought up the M16, the AK47, and all those future guns like the sniper rifle that sees through walls that were all made in 2025? All of that, and it was just the imagination of a child? Bullshit, nobody thought this through, those plot holes are so big, you could fly a jumbo jet through them!

Well the new trailer came out for BO3... and they went in a interesting direction I got to admit. They went full Dexus Ex on us, its not Exo Suits, its cyber implants, and there are other Dexus Ex type stuff in there. I still wish we got another World War II COD, but I can't lie, I am intrigued.

The thought has crossed my mind, and I like the thoughts that are entering it. Do you like the Advanced Warfare version of zombies? Regardless, I really want to see what they do with Zombies, and I am still hoping they recon that ending!

Here it is on YouTube so you don't need to go to IGN's shite site. Surprisingly good trailer as far as CoD goes.

Me and my one friend really like because he's always John Malkovich and I'm Jon Bernthal. Feels a lot faster than regular Zombies, and it has its own main easter eggs too!

So its good, better then Ghosts Alien mode, but still not as good as Trayarch Zombie mode? I will admit, the concept of Bill Paxton killing zombies is awesome, and yeah, they got Shane, nice!

It's got its ups and downs, but it's got lots of things I wish Treyarch added in their zombies, like care packages, killstreaks, and the ability to carry more than 4 perks without a power up.

Sounds like decent ideas. Really on the gameplay front, I have no fears for BO3 Zombies, seriously its always been solid, and I, for the vast majority, love the map specific ideas that are tossed it. What I fear is the writing aspect, as in that motherfucking ending, I am so interested to see how they handle that, because if they recon it, or at the very least make it so that the characters WE LIKE remain REAL then I am fine.

Exactly 40 Years after BO2... Prolly not a coincidence.
The concept is sound but it doesn't fit my style. Another COD I'll likely skip.
