Eh. I don't really have much to say here, I've just been NDT's Cosmos lately, and am planning on watching Carl Sagan's Cosmos from the '80s. Which are both more "documentary shows" than "TV shows" I guess. And also I've been thinking of watching Gotham and GoT Gotham is good, but GOT is where it's at! No regrets trust me.

I feel like I missed something watching The Blacklist and not Gotham. I mean, Blacklist is okay, but it's not great, and I really disagree with the formula(bring in a cool new villain and kill them each episode, so that none of them have depth or are developed). James Spader and the fairly entertaining supporting cast(Ressler, Aram, Dembe) are the only reason I keep watching it. Especially since some of the villains overlap a bit, and there's so many that the few that are in more than one episode(none of the really good ones, unfortunately) are guaranteed to show up again after you forgot who they are and what they did. What kills me is that sometimes they keep a cool villain alive only to never use them again(General Ludd), or make a really contrived reason to kill a villain by the end of the episode(The Front, more specifically, Beck and Pepper). There are a few villains that were really good, and that worked with the "1 villain per episode" model. Two I can think of are The Deer Hunter and.... the uh... other one. Actually, they didn't have a name. The episode was called the Mombasa Cartel, but they weren't the villains that episode. It was really good though. Made better by the fact that it was one of Donald's episodes, and Liz wasn't really involved too much. Ressler's episodes are usually good, even if they've got boring villains, he's a good character(again, I forgot the episode i.e. the villain since the episodes are named after the villains). Also, the overarching story is really fucking weak, and pathetically predictable. The only time I felt invested in it was during Berlin's Arc(one of the cool villains who stayed for more than one episode, and the only one to actually be important to the story as a character).

So I was going to come in here and ask if anyone had planned on watching the series Residue that's coming to Netflix, which stars Ramsay Snow's actor and the lady who played Tonks in Harry Potter that was also in GoT.
Then I realized that:
1. Apparently "series" means something different in the U.K. because on IMDb it's listed at 102 minutes long. So, not a TV series, just a movie.
2. The trailer didn't look good at all.
3. It's getting shit reviews.
All-in-all, forget it.

So, anyone here watch Mad Men? I recently watched Season 1-6 on Netflix, and I'm going to get caught up with the series on April 12th when they're premiering the last 7 episodes. It's pretty good, probably my #6 favorite TV Series. Despite only having one Season so far, Halt and Catch Fire is my #5.
Also, semi-related to Mad Men, I've been debating if I want Jon Hamm to play Negan in TWD more than I want him to star as Conrad in the Thief of Thieves series on amc that's been in the works for a while now. He'd be perfect for either of those roles.

Which I almost hope is what will happen. He's great at playing the villain, and Jon Hamm would be an awesome Conrad/Redmond.

Jon Hamm or Michael Madsen sound perfect enough for me, though I just shutter to think about how much stuff they have to cut from Negan to make him fit for the show, though to AMCs credit the Governor turned out better then his counterpart.

ehhhhh... worked out when they went with David Morrissey as The Governor. I'd prefer they go with a relative unknown as Negan too.

Yeah, everyone was like "who the fuck is this doctor who fgt" when he was announced to play Gov. And then he was great as hell. I heard Kevin Durand was in talks to play Negan, and I think he'd pull it off well.

Anyways, X-Files was on Netflix and I decided to give it a go (yes, go ahead and link the damn illuminati theme shit)
It's interesting, reminds me of Supernatural which I was a fan of until the tenth season came along (I fairly liked S6-9 but 10 was just not good.)

Yep, I'm planning on getting into that at some point too. Won me over with the good reviews. Gotta finish up Friday Night Lights and Gravity Falls first, then Bloodline then I'll get into Daredevil.
