I'm more or less expecting this as well, and honestly, I think it's a system that could work. Although, one big problem I can see coming is the syncing of your Telltale account. Because it's already broken pretty badly. Unless they fix it, I wouldn't dare rewind or play on multiple saves, because as of right now, it just seems to confuse the system entirely. For the moment, it seems that they're only using it for dispalying minor choices on their website, so it's fine for now.... But they really need to get it working perfectly before they launch their original "Super Show". Are you only talking about viewing extra choices on the Website once you switch your save file in game? If so, I wouldn't think that would harm your actual save file - the system just currently seems to "fill in the blanks" with extra choices from other save files (or not display them at all) instead of finding a way to access all the choices you made for each entire episode from the same save file. I think that's something that the web team should be working to improve in the future, but I don't know that for certain. My immediate thought was that it wasn't able to properly access my choices just from the Telltale Account. If this is the case, then it would be disastrous for the Tailored Television Project(I'm not going to call it Super Show, because it really does make me think of Invincible). If it's a website problem, which is could be, then... I guess so big deal.

Whenever you switch save files, it just pulls up the most recent instance of you making a choice on any of the save files. I can see why that would cause potential concern, but it's only a cosmetic issue when it comes to displaying your extra choices. I imagine that the web team will eventually find a way to display all of your choices from a unique save file, instead of their current system where they pull up your most recent instance of making each particular choice on any save file you play.

You're late to the party. Also, that's not an "original" IP.

My prediction is that Lionsgate, Telltale, or whichever TV station is airing the series will host the TV portion of the series online with some streaming service similar to Netflix, and will offer players the option to sync their Telltale Games accounts to show variations of the Television show episodes that have a few "tailored" scenes that people will view based on choices they made in the Telltale game if they played it. Similar to a Telltale game, the overall story for the TV show episodes will be the same, but again just like a Telltale game, they will probably shoot several minor variations of scenes for TV shows that account for the consequences of different player choices. The player choices would be accessed from your Telltale Games account data. Episodes for the TV show will probably release in a larger quantity and much quicker than the Telltale episodes, and since Telltale episodes will be lesser in quantity, they will probably try to create more impactful player choices that can last for tailored scenes in multiple episodes of the TV show until Telltale can release their next episode. If people don't buy the game, then they can just watch the show digitally with a default and/or randomized selection of tailored scenes for the TV show. If you only play the Telltale game, then... well... you only play the Telltale game and that's that. I'm more or less expecting this as well, and honestly, I think it's a system that could work. Right, that system is beyond broken unless you do it 100% to there liking and nothing else, which is near impossible really.

I never thought that Walking Dead 1's success would create such a domino effect for TTG. They've gone from point and click adventures to story-emphasized games based on popular IP's to their own IP's and partnering with average movie companies. It might not even have been WD that started this, might've been BTTF or JP.
I haven't even played GoT or TFtB (partly because of a lack of interest), and it looks like TTG won't ever return to classic point and click adventures. The most that could happen is seeing Sam and Max in a WD-styled game (god forbid).

Tailored Television would work best, I think. I actually saw the Super Show thing on twitter while in school during a study hall, but when I clicked on it, the link was blocked form the school's wifi. Because of how it was worded, I actually thought that "Super Show" was the name of Telltale's new original IP, and that it would be a comedic super-hero thing like Invincible. I was lightly skimming Twitter and actually thought the same thing. Again, Super Show could probably be given a better title as it currently sounds like a game title of its own. Super Show kinda sounds like a cheesy 80's game show. Not really doing it for me in the name department either.
