I'm not looking at that spoiler, but lyric really liked bs3. Apparently, there's a huge amount of branching based on how good your caravan is doing. Ye, it's good, play it
Only thing I didn't like was the epilogue, felt too abrupt, the rest was fun yeah that's the thing, there are apparently 4 or 5 optional chapters which lyric described as the same length as the chapter with the Varl King and the bridge that are totally optional. It sounds like you missed a lot of them.

Which epilogue did you get? It changes if Rook or Alette die I had the baby dredge, so the good ending, with Rook alive, except I lost the fight to Bolverk and most of ravens died. What changes if Rook/alette is dead? Well for one their death triggers a unique animated scene, and then you get a fully voice-acted epilogue of Rook/Alette joining their family in the afterlife. It's really sweet and when I saw it(Oddleif died in my first playthrough so i saw it online) I actually cried lol
Most of the ravens die if you lose to Bolverk? huh, didn't know that. Bolverk killed Folka in my playthrough which was... kinda shocking, but I managed to kill him at the White Tower. That fight was actually really intense because Iver got poisoned by a stonesinger in the very first wave, but I managed to keep him alive by bringing in Alfrun and Eyvind on the second wave and I just kept using them to heal his strength and armor. That fight was super tense bc Iver was my only good fighter since I gave him the heroic title that prevents him from being injured, and literally all my other heroes were injured bc I lost the one wave battle when trying to save Juno after the encounter with The Serpent on the ice.
Also, what ending did you get? I negotiated with the Serpent, so he got to eat half the world in exchange for Juno not suffering for eternity :P My thinking was it's already dead and only full of warped so what does it matter? (wasn't til the epilogue that I remembered that people could've survived using the Godstones whoops)

I got the ending where I convinced Eyvind to do as planned and imprison Juno, and only went to Aberrang 2 times, so it was saved. Don't like the deal ending, because the serpent can just go back on the deal whenever he feels like it .
Also, did any characters died for you, except Folka? I think I only lost her, and that one brown horseborn woman, but Tryggvi died while I reloaded the last bit to beat Bolverk, and got transported to Aberang for 3rd time on that try.

Folka, Oddleif, and Bak(the other crazy spearman) died. I only had one return to Arberrang which is a little disappointing because I've heard some major story events happen during the returns. Especially that the conclusion to Rugga's story(if you didn't kill him earlier) happens during the fourth return.

And ye, there's a lot of stuff during the returns, and dialogues with some characters you haven't spoke to earlier. Also you fight the eyeless if you spared her as Bolverk. By fourth return, it's just the great hall left, basically.

Yeah, I really have to try and see the returns, but my first playthrough was my worst and I only had one return so I don't really know how it's possible to see the other returns. That's my one big problem with the game, that it locks so much story stuff behind doing poorly in the earlier games.

Definitely need to replay with Alette save at some point Krumr was dead in my first playthrough, but in my second I liked the scene where he's talking about the hypothetical fights between the Ravens and who would win, that was a fun scene. I've heard he does more if: Bolverk wakes Bellower up at the end of Saga2

I'll probably reload my first playthrough and see at least up until the fourth return(I won't risk the fifth), bc it was so weird not to have any conclusion for Rugga's story
