The description of the video says, "This stand-alone adventure will also give you a glimpse into what the brand-new story and characters of Life is Strange 2 will be... but only if you're clever enough to piece the clues together!"
That's interesting. While we go on imaginary adventures, we also get to piece together on what the sequel's story will be about, and who we will encounter along the way.

Quick, but honest question for you guys. Is there any power in particular you are hoping for in the sequel?
Invisibility? Intangibility? Telekinetic abilities? Pyrokinesis? Teleportation?

I played The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. Plus, here's a nice fanart picture I found. It was pretty good. It actually reminded me of what it was like to be 10-years-old. Sneaking through your parent's bedroom, playing with toys, drawing comics, imagining being a superhero battling villains. There were even choices of what to do when playing with the toys; Spare the villain or destroy him. Intervene to save the civilian or do nothing. Chris' dad, Charles tries to be a good dad for Chris, but his drinking problem and short temper messes it up for him. I managed to do all of the awesome things on the list. The one where you go after Mantroid was trippy. I liked the Hawt Dawg man game. Managed to get a high score of 560 on my first try. BTW, the PIN code is HAWTDAWG in numbers; 42983294 There were some emotional moments in this, too. Like when Captain Spirit found the treasure in the maze, and it was pictures of Chris' mom and he started crying. (Surprisingly, his mask didn't get ruined from the tears.) And then when I finally woke up his dad, Mrs. Reynolds comes knocking for a chat and then his dad snaps, which made Chris run out without his coat and boots. I thought he was gonna get hurt when he fell climbing his flying fortress, but then he was actually levitating. Didn't see that coming. Did Chris actually do that? Or was it one of those two kids he was waving at that saved him? I do like the way the UI looks in this. Hopefully, it'll be just like that in the sequel. Speaking of which, I've tried searching for bits and pieces that would show what we can expect in the sequel, and most I can find is (possibly) this newspaper article, the intersection Chris' mom, Emily died at; Mantroid is named after the two streets, Mantle Street and Asteroid Drive. And then there's those two kids, plus that levitation power. You know, people in "Life is Strange" have the worst luck with cars. First William, then Chloe in the timeline when her dad was still alive, and now Chris' mom. That just ain't fair.

The first official "Life is Strange" comic from "Titan Comics" launches November 2018, written by Emma Vieceli with interior art by Claudia Leonardi. Join Max & Chloe as they return to Arcadia Bay, charting the course of a possible future after one of the two endings of the game. Here are some personal words from Emma Vieceli: “Like so many players all over the world, I fell hard for Max and her story from the release of episode one, and every chapter brought more heartache, tears and emotional rollercoasters. One of the wonders of the series is that every player may have taken Max and Chloe on a unique journey, and so distilling their possible futures into one mini-series is a huge thing. Importantly, as with the game, it must always be remembered that what we’re creating here is one possibility out of many. I’m excited with the story we’ve opted for, and I hope readers will be too!”

5/10 not enough hot teens Interesting. Maybe that was Chris or one of the two boys that caused that telekinetic power shove. Either way, they're on the lamb now.
You know, I was also thinking that maybe, since we already played as someone with powers, the main protagonist in season 2 will be someone who hangs out and supports their friend with powers. (unless I missed out on some info that mentioned who it would be.)

The main characters of Life is Strange 2 are brothers Sean (16) and Daniel Diaz (9), two brothers living a fairly normal life in Seattle, Washington state. Following a tragic event, their lives are forever changed. Now on the run from the police and threatened with both separation and incarceration, Sean decides to take his younger brother and seek a better life in their family’s home town of Puerto Lobos, Mexico.
Life on the road is tough and dangerous. The brothers will face all manner of challenges as they bravely undertake a journey that will test the bonds of brotherhood. Playing as Sean, you will need to make the kind of tough choices you can expect from a Life is Strange game, and you will need to live with the consequences of your actions. The game will this time focus on brotherhood alongside the need to guide and educate your younger brother whilst simultaneously coming of age yourself. As with previous games in the series, Life is Strange 2 will tackle a host of issues that all of us can identify with and that will cause moral dilemmas and require much soul searching. These themes come together most powerfully in the way Daniel will develop depending on the lessons you teach him and the role model you decide to be.
We are also really excited to confirm that Life is Strange 2 will feature a new power. What it is and how it relates to the brothers is something you will discover in due course!
As Sean and Daniel travel towards Mexico, they will meet an entirely new cast of characters and pass through numerous new settings. Life is Strange 2 will also include multiple features that will be unveiled over the course of the next week, as we strive to deliver the most ambitious Life is Strange entry with the highest production values in the game series to date. Jonathan Morali, the French composer who worked with the team on the first game, is also composing a new original soundtrack for Life is Strange 2 which will be supported by a brand new licensed soundtrack.
If all that information wasn’t enough, you can also look forward to gameplay from Life is Strange 2 being released in the coming days. Make sure to subscribe to us on Youtube to be notified as soon the gameplay is released! If you are attending Gamescom 2018, do drop by the Square Enix booth (Hall 9, Booth B31) to play the opening scene yourself.
If you previously played The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, some of the finer details about the story and the brothers may now start falling into place. If you haven’t yet played The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, you can download it entirely for free on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC (Steam).
Episode 1 of Life is Strange 2 will release September 27, 2018.
This game represents as much of a journey to us as it does to our heroes Sean and Daniel, and we can’t wait to embark on it with you. Let’s get started!- The Life is Strange team

Could be cool, I like the idea of being on the run and having choices being around how far you're willing to go to try and make it.
