Why was... 'Richard' showing up everywhere? I just assumed he was some kind of angel of death.

Why was... 'Richard' showing up everywhere? He's some kind of supernatural being or something.

How come the writer was always unloading guns and only winding enemies. Was he a pacifist? And what made him have a sudden bit of madness where he ended up killing enemies? Because he's one of the few people who's actually good. Unless you make him go berserk by trying to kill people. It's what makes Evan so cool. Oh yes. He's so good that he chooses the book over his wife and kids. Cause, y'know, fuck responsibilities, amiright?

I did not know that
I take back what I just said in my sarcastic manner.

Well, you only choose that in the second Evan level. Don't know if you're there yet. Before that, he was so wrapped up in his book, and the conspiracy behind the "hotline" killing spree, that he didn't realize the impact it had on his family.

I don't know if I should feel like an idiot for having only realised this today, but Rust, played at the start of one of the Hawaii levels in HM2, is actually kind of a remix of the "convenience store / bar / VHS store / wherever else Jacket goes after a level" theme from HM1.

Yeah, I realized that pretty much as soon as it played in the game.

Huh I didn't even notice, although I like Rust a lot better.
