Nice work. I'll also jump on the "it's canon" train. So are the any alternate endings that you considered or was it only the one we see? Aside from the joke VincexBecca ending that we came up with in the shoutbox? Actually, yeah. I have this from my notes document:  The Outpost was initially planned to be on the way to Wellington (it's kind of hinted at that early on) but I made the piece of paper Wyatt found actually hint at other safezones. A VERY early idea for the ending had a guy pulling up in a car (with maybe a few other people) and he'd be all like, "So, I take it you folks are the ones who run this Outpost, right?" and then Vince would reply, "You have no fucking idea." or something. |

Really sad that this is over. I agree, it's canon. Very glad this group gets to continue on together. They're a great, unconventional family. Only seems right considering the hell the four of them have been through together. My favorite episode was the one with Marshall. Ivan episode a close #2. Which one do you class as the Ivan episode? 4 or 5? 4. The initial meeting had such a what the fuck value to it. I've also got a question... at any point did you consider killing Annie or Wyatt? |

Yep, gonna miss this fic. I remember the day I stumble across it (thanks Bokor if you happen to read this)... I read all the episodes that had been already uploaded (I.E. the first 4 chapters) in one day. Ofc it end out taking most of the day, but hell, it was still worthy!

Damn, this was really good! Episode 3 was my favorite so far, I just liked how you inroduced Daniel and Lucia. And I've always noticed Becca in teh Ep. 5 slide, I just thought it was really obvious. Is the dead hand supposed to be Ivan, Daniel, or Lucia?

As much as people predicted Annie's death, it was never gonna happen. The whole 'Shel dying, Becca fills Shel's place for Annie' thing has been in the back of my mind for a long time. Wyatt could've died in Episode 4 or 5 though. He was lucky to avoid it both times because he was responsible for killing the bandit and that meant he needed to reveal that. The whole 'Wyatt wasn't sure if it was him' thing in Episode 3 was to give myself room to change who it was, but it stuck with Wyatt. Damn, this was really good! Episode 3 was my favorite so far, I just liked how you inroduced Daniel and Lucia. And I've always noticed Becca in teh Ep. 5 slide, I just thought it was really obvious. Ehhh, romantic stuff isn't really my forte (Forever alone). The closest I got with that was Daniel and Lucia's pre-established relationship (and Miles and Laura's friends-with-benefits relationship) but putting any of the official characters in romantic situations kind of feels try-hardy to me, though I won't rule out the possibility. Also I saw Bokor advertise the fic on the TTG forums, so thanks to him for that. Also I admire your dedication to read that much in one day XD |

I did actually kinda expect that Annie and Becca would eventually have a sister-like relationship, I think the idea come across my mind when Annie encouraged Becca to stand up after she fell in her knees coughing harshly mid-way around Episode 5. I even tought that they may both end out running away when the bandits returned and get split from the rest of the group, which kinda happened in the last chapter (even if only momentarily)...
