Took me a while to get the hang of it, but now I'm doing good. Unlocked all Plagues now I'm trying to unlock the scenarios. Does anyone know how to do that? I completed The Black Death Scenrio but none of the others unlocked.
Anyway, my favourite Plague is the Bio Weapon. Once you infect everyone and you have enough DNA points to unlock it fatality then it's an easy victory. Jesus Christ, the population die so fast it's unbelievable. When I unlock it and I have enough DNA points for some fatal symptoms I'm like; "Lets kill them even more!"
Love this game.

Oh, and I had this experience with the Black Death Scenario.
It went like this; All of the countries were infected except for Greenland, Iceland and New Zealand. There was no way I could infect them as all of my infected countries had closed off their borders, stopped shipping and flights. So had the non-infected countries. I had hardly any DNA points. Couldn't do shit. It was a pain in the ass. I knew then and there I wasn't going to win. So I waited for the remaining infected countries to die so I could get it over with when all of a sudden; Non-human infection in New Zealand.
I watched as New Zealand's population became infected and then started to die off. Non-human infection in Iceland. As New Zealand began to die I watched Iceland get infected. Their population was almost completely infected when all of a sudden.
Non-human infection in Greenland.
I was going to win. And I didn't need to do shit. The plague spread by itself. I was amazed. The final moments were spent with me guessing which country would die first; Greenland or Iceland. Their population was getting infected rapidly and the death rate was climbing up.
I went with Greenland since Iceland got infected before hand. New Zealand was long since dead. Iceland died out. It was just me and Greenland.
Plague soon to wipe out humanity popped up.
And.... VICTORY.
I got lucky that day. It was almost funny.

It's so hard for me to win because once I decide that I want my plague to become more noticable, everyone goes crazy and starts a cure when I only have minor symptoms like coughing and sneezing. It's like trying to cure the common cold when there's cancer out there.

Oh, didn't know there was a thread for this.
I usually start in a big, rich country like the USA and get drug resistance as soon as I can. Then I try to infect the entire world without any symptoms, then get the most lethal symptoms I can to kill everyone.
This might not be a thing in the tablet version, I'm not sure because I use the Steam version which has features the tablet version doesn't, but some of the news headlines that show up are hilarious. "Footballer quarantined after Suarez bite", "Researchers have calculated that it takes longer than expected for radioactive fluids with a half-life of 3 years to pass through Valves. Reason unknown."

There was also something about a "top-notch mine" for "miners and crafters everywhere, they will certainly enjoy this top-notch mine". ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

I like to start out in Saudi Arabia because it has flights going everywhere. America, Canada, Australia, Britain. Fucking everywhere. It's easy to spread your plague that way.
