Yeah, that upset me too. It's amazing how everybody immediately forgot about poor Sarah after the baby was born. And Luke needs to go fuck himself forever. He is a bigger loser than the Stranger and Carver. Seriously, he is more upset about the whore he slept with than the deaths of his best pal who he has been friends with for 20 fucking years and the girl who he knew for an year probably? Fuck him.

I wouldn't go that far, but once again, lost respect for him.

At least with Kenny he might go a bit loopy about family and perhaps hate you for not siding with him, he at least won't shoot your friends or sleep with them!

True, also its not just me that hates Nick's death for not just being not sad, bullshit, and off screen, but for totally being nonsensical? He got shot in the shoulder, fine, but Luke told him to go look for shit, and he somehow died on a fence? How did that happen? Did just bleed to death? There were no bites, and there were a ton of walkers, they should be eating him, and why on a fucking fence? Fuck it, every time someone would mention Nick, I would get pissed, hell Luke's reaction was a nicer version of my reaction.

Alright, I'm going to blab on about Nick and hope that a concrete opinion comes of it.
If you saved Pete, you can make a promise to him to watch out for Nick. This didn't apply to me since I went with Nick. That said, apparently Telltale had severely short-term goals for that promise. A House Divided was very Nick-centric. After that, really nothing at all. I suppose I can understand the intention there. I don't like it at all, but I understand. Get Nick through the grieving period, after that, he's an adult that can take care of himself.
The problem is that nothing Clementine says or does to help Nick changes him as a person. He is who he is. He's a follower that wants to protect his friends, is quick to judgment and makes foolish decisions. In In Harm's Way he was basically attached to Luke's side. In Amid the Ruins he offered once again to protect his friends, but wasn't careful enough. In the grand scheme of things, Nick was a braver Ben. A young, scared, stupid kid, but one that wouldn't backdown from an opportunity to have his friend's backs. Really, we found out everything we needed to find out about Nick. His off-screen human death is frustrating, yes. However, it makes sense for the character Telltale constructed.
Huh. Seems like I talked myself into defending the death.
Eh, fuck that fuckin' shit. I still hate it.

You can't talk yourself into liking it, its just a more bullshit Omid death, which is saying something because Omid dying was bullshit by its very definition. Remember how we once joked that if you look up the word 'dumb' in the dictionary, you would find a picture of Ben? Well now if you looked up cheap, you would find Nick.

What i really disliked was the way we killed him i mean FOR REAL?! Did you really have to open up his face and slice some of his head down? REALLY?! For fucks sake. I had to replay this entire shit just so i get save games for episode 4 and when i saved Nick i was like: Hey i like this guy. Yeah i know he was determinant and Telltale FUCKED UP THE FUCKING DETERMINANTS IN THIS GAME! Lot of people already talked about Ben that he had much of a role after his possibly death and he got a better death in my opinion, This death however was a pretty shitty send off for an okay guy. I know right? I know they were trying to make it like Lee and his brother, but I was to angry to like the reference, just yelling "Oh come on! Really! We really need to do this?"

Yeah, it was more graphic then it was needed, which is a really odd complaint, but man does the small problems pile up.

I'm just gonna copy and paste my little rant from the Episode 4 discussion thread:
"Nick. Fucking Nick. To say that Telltale dropped the ball with his fate is far more complimentary than they deserve. Episode 2 established Nick as one of the biggest characters in the cabin group and set up a very interesting dynamic between him and Clem. And he gets killed offscreen. WHAT. THE. FUCK. That was absolutely the stupidest, laziest, worst ending that they could have possibly cooked up for such an important and beloved character. And the way Clem finished him off was just tasteless. They have you whack him over and over again instead of just letting you plant the hatchet in his skull and be done with it. It wouldn't have made that scene much better, but it would have been something. Nick's death here is just one big FUCK YOU written by Telltale with their middle finger in the blood of a beloved character that deserved a much better sendoff than he got. I'm so pissed about this that I'm actually gonna write a story and give Nick the death he deserved. I certainly couldn't do worse than Telltale even if I tried. I could go on and on about this. Hell, I could probably write a fucking novel on why Nick's death was so goddamn stupid, and then I could follow up with a sequel about how Sarah's fate is equally stupid and lazy, but I'll stop here. Well, after this last thought that I just have to get out.
Carlos and Uncle Pete are fucking ashamed of you, Telltale. And so are the rest of us. Don't make characters so important if you just intend to throw them away like this. You used to be better than that."

I could not agree more, all those bad ideas we were thinking of, they did that, they did it off screen, it makes no sense, and it totally wastes his character, I could have written it better, have Clem find him in the forest with Jane, bleeding to death, and have him say all of those sad lines about Pete and Clem, and then die, shoot him, and then move on, problem solved, and its at least sad, this, fucking hell, I literally did not nothing but yell "FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!" for a couple of minutes, god!

Also this goes without saying, but this is the worst death so far in TWD the game series, hell at least Chuck hadn't been around since episode 1! Its absolute bullshit! UNACCEPTABLE TELLTALE! UNACCEPTABLE! But the rest of the episode was good.
