That was kind of directed to everyone, not just you.

Its kind of eerie, because the movie Paths of Glory was on yesterday, and that is pretty much the same thing, French soldiers just refusing to fight anymore, and they pay the price, weird timing.

I think I told you a few pages back I am half way through the very first book and loving it, also extreme descriptions of food sure beats pointless porn, also that Southpark episode was totally fucking around, its not as bad as they described it at all, clearly HBO is the mega pervert.

It would be really cool if they made another game like this, but focusing on World War Two. WWII has been glamorized by almost every Holywood movie out their, it would nice nice for a change to see the glamor taken away, with human, decent characters from both the allies AND the axis.
The perspectives could be something along the lines of.
A French soldier who later joins the French resistance once France falls.
A German Air Force pilot stationed in France after the conquest who isn't a vehement Nazi.
Maybe a soldier from an italllian regiment.
You get the idea,

Also I find it interesting that the game ends with the Americans arriving in November of 1917, not November 11th 1918, interesting...

Speaking of WW2... was anyone else depressed at the end of Valiant Hearts when you realized that Europe was gonna go to hell again in 20 more years?

I think it's more just hammering the point home that the game's true antagonist, the war itself, was still raging despite the immense sacrifices on both sides and that it would always be hungry for more lives.

It made the war seem even more pointless than it already was. And for added nightmare fuel, Karl's son Victor would be of prime military age by that point.

Yeah. The Nazi party didn't get into power through a 50% +1 vote, they got to be in charge becuase all the other factions were fighting each other, and the Nazi's had more than any one individual faction did.
