Let's all take a moment to hash out our thoughts about this guy: Roman. I thought he was a pretty good leader in 400 Days. He cared about his group and tried to keep them safe even if it meant doing unpleasant things. He struck me as a guy who was good at heart despite the apocalypse and was just trying to keep his friends alive. If Shel stays silent during the choice about what to do with Roberto, the first thief, Roman actually decides to let him go. He led his group like a true democracy where everyone got a vote and listened to the majority even when he disagreed with it. Now a moment of silence for our fallen friend. I wish he'd been in Season 2 as more than a corpse. Rest in Peace, Roman.

I feel like Rock has a thing for the bald characters.
Back on topic, Roman did seem like a straight-up guy. People treat him like he's on the same end of the spectrum as Carver, the St Johns, or the Stranger. He really wasn't that bad, and though he did kind of make his group into prisoners, he had decent reasoning behind it. Maybe he was just overprotective.

Holy crap Jake, I think you're right. I didn't notice that before. First Roman, then Pete.
Also, it's nice to see that someone other than me and Dome like him. I felt that he went a bit far as well after the attack, but that it was understandable given that Boyd had died in my game. I supported him on the Stephanie situation and I shot her. About the only reason I had Shel leave in subsequent playthroughs was so that I could get everyone to go with Tavia.

Man, season two would've been amazing with him as the main antagonist.
You wouldn't believe how disappointed I was when he was dead by the river.

Antagonist? I can't say that I outright see him joining the fight against Carver because it's the right thing to do, but why do you think he would be an antagonist?

It went with my theory that the 400 Days characters would all eventually join up with Clem. Being pissed at Shel for ruining what was left of his group, I thought Roman would track her down and attack the group. Would've been nice to see.
Also, because he has the perfect voice for an antagonist.
And it intimidated me.

That is actually a nice theory, and I can see Roman going after Shel for doing that. The only problem with that theory is that Shel has the choice to stay with Roman and shoot Stephanie, which I did. I do agree that he had a good antagonist voice, but I also think that Michael Madsen had a better one. Plus Roman's VA was too busy voicing Carlos I guess.

I could have seen him be a good antagonist, better then what we got? Maybe not, but still good, god I hope they didn't kill Carver off to fast.

Roman's VA was too busy voicing Carlos I guess. If Gavin Hammon can voice Beast, Dee, Dum, The Mirror and probably others in TWAU, then I think Andrew Chaikin would be able to do two characters at once XD

Hopefully he'll voice another character later on. He's pretty good with accents and stuff. Maybe he could voice one of the trailer trash in the next episode.

Trailer Trash can't compare to Roman or Carlos. Also, here's something interesting (if you've ever played Republic Commando). I turns out that Roman and Carlos's VA also voiced Fixer. I bring it up because Republic Commando is one of my favorite Star Wars games ever of all time and my mind was blown when I discovered that.

REALLY!?!?! I loved that game, and Fixer was my personal favorite in the squad followed my Sev, so, wow.
