What games do you think are very underrated?
For me some would be:
1)Spider man Web of Shadows - This game came out and then was just forgotten about and imo it's the best spider man game, there was even a morality system in it which was pretty cool.
2)Bioshock 2 - Ok, the story was worse than the firsts but the combat was a lot better since you can have your plasmid and gun at the same time also you get to be a Big Daddy, what's more awesome than that?
2)psychonauts - This one you really need to play to see why it's so good, but it's brilliant and you should buy it if you get the chance.

1) I hate morality systems. And the best spiderman game is Spiderman 2. The one with Doctor Octopus.
2) How about the fact that Big Daddies represent everything wrong with Rapture, and playing as them is a hideous idea.
3) I do want to play this one. I've heard it's great.
My own list:
Mirrors Edge-great the first time through, with only minor hiccups here and there. On expert mode, though, you find how truly linear the game is, and that kind of kills it. Good up until that point, though.
50 Cent: Blood on the Sand- It's basically Gears of War, if Gears of War was funny. And dumb. REALLY dumb. For instance, when driving, you can occasionally go off ramps, which explode on contact for literally no reason. It's crazy, and dumb, and beautiful.
Dead Island-Not as good as the trailer. I recognize that. But it's still a lot of fun to play. It's not necessarily creative, or well made, but the little innovations they do make add a lot to the game. Plus, the bugs add a lot of humor. Like when I got caught under the floor, and watched as two or three tanks walked over me. Again and again. Then one time, I killed a zombie, and it started humping the wall, while it was glitched into the floor and walls. Also, once, me and my friend wee playing, and this guy was crying over his brother's corpse, and my friend kicked the corpse, and its head exploded. That was fantastic.

Oh yeah, i forgot about Mirrors Edge it's pretty great, and they're making a sequel which is apparently open world, i never played 50 Cent: Blood On The Sand and i enjoyed Dead Island for what it was and the glitches pretty much made that game, i remember i found a glitch where if you jumped into a certain small gap you'd get catapulted out of the map and that alone was a lot of fun and the model glitches where hilarious.

Spec Ops: the line, seriously why is it underrated? It was so unique, there is nothing quite like it in the third person genre, and is the antithesis of games like Call of Duty. Also Bioshock 2 sucks.

Coming from a Bioshock fan.... Anyway If I'd have to say my favorite besides Mirror's Edge and Dead Island: 1. Alan Wake: The real first "Horror" Game I've ever played. The story was well written, and the way Remedy portrayed it as a TV show was awesome. It's sequel American Nightmare though was a little repetitive, but the survival mode was pretty fun.

I am a huge Bioshock fan, and Bioshock 2 did not add a lot, there were a few bits, like Minerva's Den, that were pretty good, but as a whole it does not add a lot, and just feels unneeded, yes the combat was better, but not by much, and I for one thought the combat in Bioshock 1 was good, and that was the games only saving grace, which quickly become nothing after Infinite, which was just plain better, and now that the events of Bioshock 2 are officially uncanon, well, why should I even care?

Also Bioshock 2 sucks. I agree with this. I loved spec ops, it's a shmae it has sold poorly and is nderrated. My firend is the only reason I gave this game a try, I just thought it was going to be another Call of duty like game.

The Half-Life expansion packs(Opposing Force and Blue Shift). Everybody's heard of Half-Life, but nobody seems to ever mention the expansion packs. They're not quite as good as the other Half-Life games, but they're still really good. They're by Gearbox, who make the Borderlands games. It's really great seeing things that you remember happening in Half-Life, but from another character's perspective- for example, in Opposing Force you play as a soldier, and near the start you see another soldier sitting at a radio issuing the "Cooper, forget about Freeman, we are pulling out, mark your last bomb targets on the map" message. And you find out how Barney escapes Black Mesa by playing as him in Blue Shift.

True, I got it because Yahtzee said it was good, and he was right, its such a shame it sold poorly, it did well with reviews.
