That fight in the snow was fuckin' beautiful, man. And Jack's dad is still a badass. Season 5 just gets better and better. Best part, Scotsman hasnt even appeared yet, it's only gonna get better.
Hope the portal guardian comes back too. Plus maybe we'll get lucky and DA SAMOORAI returns after having taken Jack's advice and actually lived the life of a true Samurai.
Then he, Jack, and Scotsman just go fuckin' berserk on Aku. Probably not, but a man can dream.

I think it would pretty damn awesome if once Jack gets his sword back and regains his purpose, he gathers all his allies that he met throughout the series and all of them fighting against Aku and his army in one last final showdown. It would be cool if the baby that Jack took care of in the last episode of season 4 to show up all grown up and badass and fight alongside Jack.

What can I say this was an amazing episode. Got some of the quiet and slow paced momments I'd been hoping for. I was surprissed to find out that the wolf actually appeared I thought he was there only for symbolic reasons. Undoubtelly the darkest episode so far from the way Jack was bleeding through (which was further accentuated by the lighting and coloring of the scenes), to the fight against the daughters of Aku, I was quite surprissed how quickly all of Aku's daughter other than brunnette Ilana Ashi were disposed off. A worthy send off though considering how great the fight was.
Looking back at the previous seasons I did not think Jack showed many signs of trauma when he was little so I'm a bit on the fence with the whole sequence, I would think that if it was something he was enforced to cope with since he was very little he wouldn't hesitate that much about murdering a human being. Best part, Scotsman hasnt even appeared yet, it's only gonna get better.

I fucking loved this episode. I cannot wait for the next one. Holy shit this show is so badass. I think my favorite part was when Jack and the Wolf met face to face. The way they were drawn only in their blood and their eyes, it was so fuckin artsy.

Gonna go ahead and say I really loved the fight in this episode not just because it was badass, but because of the way it played out.
Jack got his ass kicked and nearly died in the last episode when he went up against all of them at once. So this time, after he gives them a chance to leave, he makes sure to kill two of them immediately in his initial ambush, bringing their numbers down to four. Then he fled and managed to kill another one, bringing them down to three. The final three all teamed up on him and he started taking a few hits, so he retreated to the log hanging over the cliff forcing them to fight him one on one or all risk falling off. And in a straight up one on one fight nobody is a match for Samurai Jack. Knocking the remaining three off the log as they come at him one at a time? Too easy.
Jack didn't just win because he's a badass, though that certainly helped. He won because, unlike his last encounter with the Daughters of Aku, he controlled the battle. And that was fuckin' sick.

Well Scaramouche was close.
Close to what? To beating Jack 1 on 1. Granted, he was only close in that his golem almost instagibbed Jack once or twice, but that still counts as 1 on 1.

Sure he caught Jack by surprise a couple times (With the golem, his scatting, and the fucking awesome tuning fork sword) but Jack held his own and never backed down. The outcome was never in question. But also, you did make me realize that Jack does have a match one on one: The Scotsman. So I'll give you that.

Fuck, like I said earlier, have these three badasses team up and just fucking destroy Aku.
