1. Breaking Bad (Friendly reminder it's been exactly a year since Ozymandias) 2. Pre-S3 Walking Dead 3. The Wire Pre-S3? In my opinion Season 4 was the best so far, and S3 was better than S2. I still haven't gotten around to watching The Wire.

I still haven't gotten around to watching The Wire. Yeah, I loved seasons one and two. S1 felt like a six episode long horror story, and I liked the downtime spent at the farm in S2 because of the character development. S3 made me completely lose my faith in the tv show (still haven't watched S4) and it's because of Mazzara's shoddy showrunning.

Scott Gimple is the showrunner for Season 4, zeruis. And Season 4 is basically giving all the characters development that they should have gotten before, Season 4 is pretty much Gimple cleaning up Mazarra's mess. Season 5 is going to be the bomb.

I really don't blame you for losing faith, I sure did, season 4 does clean up a lot of the bullshit, and is much better then season 3, season 5 looks to be really awesome!

Lots of people complain the show is the slowest at Season 4 - that's because the new showrunner is giving all the needed development and he does a stellar job at it, and Scott Gimple is the guy who wrote Save The Last One(2x03), Pretty Much Dead Already(2x07), 18 Miles Out(2x10), Hounded(3x06), Clear(3x12), This Sorrowful Life(3x15), 30 Days without an accident(4x01), The Grove(4x14), A(4x16) AKA the greatest episodes of the series. Season 4 can be slow, but it's an amazing season and the best thus far. Season 5 is going to be awesome.

Wow, I didn't realize he wrote all those episodes, those are basically the best. Well, I still consider Too Far Gone to be THE best, but those are all some of the best episodes, mostly Clear, The Grove, and Pretty Much Dead Already. Also, I just looked at the list of episodes. The Premiere is being directed by Greg Nicotero, and written by Scott M. Gimple. It's going to be amazing.

Anyone wanna predict episode title names for Season 5 in the WD thread? I don't even like the first episode title, 'No Sanctuary' sounds weird and a bit generic for The Walking Dead.

I know, I like how Telltale and the comics only use 3 words for the titles, I guess it forces them to be a little more creative.

I think Walking Dead is pretty inconsistent, but I gotta hand it to Gimple, I LOVED the Governor in season 4. Wanted him dead all throughout season 3, then became one of my favorite characters to the point where I wish he wasn't too far gone and had stuck around.

You think that is generic? I still can't rap my head around the fact that the last episode was just called A, I mean good god, that is an awful name, the episode itself was okay, but Jesus, that is a dumb title if I have ever seen one.

I do agree it's very inconsistent, but when it's good, its Breaking Bad level's of good, but when its bad, man does it sink, but season 4 was a lot more consistent then season 3.
