Well a couple of weeks ago I got flagged by the FBI for supposedly watching child porn, turns out it's just a really, really, really awful virus trying to force me to pay money, but my god, my heart stopped for a solid minute. Holy shit there's some messed up viruses out there, Luckily the worst I've had is one that closed my internet browser and then laughed at me (I'm not even joking, it played a sound effect of some creepy laugh).

One time, I got a virus that was disguised as an antivirus. Pretty sneaky. Not exactly scary, but whatever.

That's a bit creepy you think? More frustrating than anything, but the first time it happened, sure.

well, at one point some brat pushed me in front of a car.
It wasn't as much a scare as it was a Shock that someone actually nearly caused me to get a trip to the hospital.

I haven't really got any viruses, but I've got plenty of adware before.

It wasn't the scariest moment of my live, but it still was creepy. So at one point we watched a movie in class. It was "The Woman in Black", maybe some of you watched it. We watched it because it was during a period where half of the class was missing. Our room was completely dark, the perfect setting to watch a horror movie. So it was way easier to get jumpscared by this woman.
Skip forward a few days, me and my friend from my class were going home from the rink. It was almost midnight, pretty fucking dark and we were waiting for the train. There were a few houses around the station, the lights were off in most of them. And then it happened. We saw a fucking silhouette that reminded the woman, moving in one of the windows. It was such a fucking shock for both of us.
Sorry, I'm a shitty storyteller but this creature really made me afraid of looking into dark windows for a while. Also watch the movie, it was pretty good.

I was walking my dog couple of months ago. We had friends over to visit, and they left in their car while I was taking her out. She was kind of attached to them and I think them driving off was the reason why.... This happened. So, I walked to the top of the field and then told her to head back. We did, I was kind of going through story ideas in my head, so I was distracted but one I spotted what was happening... It was too late.
Pippa was on this rocky lane that leads to a lane that you can drive down to get to my house or the other houses on the estate. If you turn left... Then you are going onto the main road. I was half way down the field and I could see her bolting. I don't know why she was doing it, but I sprinted as fast as could and screamed her name several times. She didn't stop. She turned the corner and disappeared behind some hedges. By the time I reached the rocky lane she was gone. I tried not to panic, I went to the grass verge and checked for any sign of her. I ran down the lane and had a look around the houses. I ran back up the lane and looked around on the grass verge, that's when I started crying like a baby.
I generally thought I had lost her, that she might have gotten run over, and it was all my fault. I went to get my step-dad (while I was still crying) and he decided that he needed to take a piss before heading out to find her (because his bowel movements are more important, apparently). I headed back out and an old lady on one of those... Things. Motor things that they sit and drive around on. And she had Pippa in her arms.
Apparently, Pippa had been wandering around on the edge of the road. The old women must of seen her collar and knew the area and came looking for the owner a.k.a me. It was stroke of luck, and I'm thankful. I appreciate what she did.
Fucking hell. I've had moments like this before when Pippa's disappeared out of sight but she's always reappeared. She never... Bolted like this before.
I was terrified that she might have died.

Bolted like this before. I was terrified that she might have died. I had a kind of similar experience once... I was at my grandmother's house, alone. She was gone away to do something for a while, I can't remember what. Anyway, after watching TV for a while, I realised her dog, Max, wasn't in the house. I looked all over for him but I couldn't find him. I was terrified. I thought he had gone missing and that it was somehow my fault. Turned out, before leaving, my grandmother brought Max to a friend to look after him. So, my experience was the same kind of terror as yours, except there wasn't ever actually any danger in mine.
