If they ever visit some kind of Demon Realm or Hell in Outcast, I'll stop reading it. I swear to god. And I think that the beginning of the Post-War Arc of Walking Dead was great, but at some point the comic kinda lost focus. Yeah, it's definitely losing focus. And I agree, Outcast should stay pretty grounded in reality. It's part of what makes it so fucking creepy. Right now though, there's so many questions that need answering... It'll probably run for a good while before there's any chance of it losing its focus. Personally, I see the perfect length of outcast at about 8-10 volumes. But it'll just spin out of control at some point when the TV series arrives. Is it this year already? Damn they fast

To my understanding, Kirkman started work on the comics and TV Series at the same time, with the intention of telling the story in two different ways. Well, I honestly like the way that Kirkman does that. It means I can enjoy both. I don't really like when an adaptation is too strict because that really means I can only enjoy one or the other. For example, with Game of Thrones, I'm not really enjoying reading the books because I know everything that's going to happen. But, you can go too far. For example, Under the Dome. Possibly one of the worst shows currently on television. They took the book and and then just fucked it(along with all of the fans) by Episode One. Then, it's only gotten worse as the entire focus on the story has changed. The books were about the growing tension and changing political situation in Chester's Mill as Big Jim tried to seize control, and the show has been about ghosts, magic butterflies, and some idiotic government conspiracy. I like The Walking Dead's method of doing things. Change some things, but the general course of the story is the same. If Outcast does this, then I'll be able to enjoy both the show and the comics. Though, I'll say already, I just don't like the look of the guy who's playing Kyle. Patrick Fugit, I think his name is?

To be honest about the Walking Dead Show: The parts that were not featured in the comics (the CDC, the part with the illnesses at the beginning of season four) are the weakest part of the entire series. I really enjoy the episodes that are based on the comics because I love watching the panel-to-screen magic. Personally, I did not find it boring at all to read the Game of Thrones book, because (especially beginning with book 3+) there are a lot of changes that keep me engaged. As for Under the Dome: I never read the book, but the TV series is worth a good ol' puke. Also, I actually like Patrick Fugit. He had a short, but cool role in Gone Girl. He was a whiny bitch on House though.

Sometimes it's nice to see the panel-to-screen stuff, but I really like some of the original storylines(Morgan, the cops in Atlanta, and so far, The Wolves), and I like when they change stuff for the better(Lizzie and Mika was better than Billy and the other kid). The book for Under the Dome is actually really great. Maybe a little bloated, but the characters are awesome, and I love some of the POVs from the more villainous characters. Also, it's got a lot of King's style and charm that the show has none of. By far one of my favorite quotes form the book: "Murder is a lot like eating a bag of potato chips. Once you start you can't stop." (not exact, but you get the point)

He is good at whining and bitching around, so he can play the role of the main character very well. CDC was horrible. The illness part was very bad as well. I haven't seen the part with the wolves so far, but I kinda have the feeling I am not gonna like it. I don't know why. Yeah, I don't like stephen king. His books are actually not that good imo (well, his early ones are).

I love Doctor Sleep, The Stand, the Dark Tower Series, 11/22/63, etc.

I read the first two novels when I was 12 (which is over ten years ago, so my memory has kind of faded), but I can remember that I found them written in a really weird and unappealing fashion.

The first one is written almost in a different dialect of English, so it's a little hard to understand. I would suggest going back to it and seeing if you find it more appealing now, it's a really good series. But then again, I'm biased. There were King novels I didn't like as much(Pet Semetary, The Shining, etc), but I wouldn't call any of his novels bad.

He actually stopped working on the Thief of Thieves comics past Vol. 3, but he is going to be a showrunner on the Thief of Thieves TV Series that amc is working on. He's also working on Invincible. So, Outcast(comics and TV Series), The Walking Dead(comics, main TV series, and companion series), Invincible(just the comics, as far as I'm aware), Thief of Thieves(only the TV Series has of "Venice"), and a few other comics. The guy must be a master at time managed. That, or he's overworked. Which might explain why the TWD comics haven't been great recently. Or uh... even good. ...or decent, even.
