Purple team is where it's at! And holy crap i just noticed how far pink is ahead, this must be rigged or something no way the teams just randomly shoot ahead of each other every day.

It won't, but there are minor things that never made sense, like how in hell do you eat food with a helmet on your head? I'm going to say this little hole is less important than the fact that a good 80% of Infinite's time line doesn't make sense. Also, why does Booker eat food out of the trash? ._. It all makes sense... It's just caught up inside it's own ass. Bioshock 2, however, fucks the timeline way worse than Infinite. Wasn't Rapture pretty much dead after Bioshock 1? How does anything still exist there? Regardless, Bioshock 2 was caught in the money pile, looking for more. I'd prefer someone far up their own ass than someone looking to get some quick cash. Bioshock 2 has no impact whatsoever. You should really just watch the video.

I do admit that never made much sense how you eat everything like a pig, but I suppose it makes slightly more sense since you don't have a fishbowl on your head? I mean another thing, I know its gameplay, but why does a Big Daddy need to eat? I suppose he doesn't. But then again, throughout all of the games, why does eating heal you? "Oh, I've been shot! Not to worry, I've got some candy bars that can fix that!" What? True, eating food never makes sense as to why it heals you, but hey, it sure beats bloody screen so real regeneration.

Like how Infinite had a story that wasn't great because it had too much going on, and how 2 had a story that was flat out bad because it was made to just generically string together the levels in this full on money grubbing piece of shit.

No I made quite a long post in another thread as to why I disliked it, I personally think Bioshock 2 can be safely skipped because the story is lower quality due to the creative director passing on it because he wanted to do more then just rehash Bioshock.

The story of Bioshock 2 was quite good I thought. Sofia Lamb was a pretty good villain, the progression of how she came to power, the whole thing with the prison, etc. Aside from that, the relationship between Delta and Eleanor, Delta's story as to how he got to rapture, the story of the Big Daddy's, revealing more of Rapture's history. Lamb's idea of Utopia, all ideas melded into one, one family. There was a much better story there than in Infinite. Only thing I liked more about Infinite was Booker. Literally the only thing. not saying that Infinite is bad, it's a great game, I just like all the other ones more than it.

Can you guys stop talking about Bioshock in the Steam summer sale thread? Anyway... pink is going to win this day of the thing, then blue will win the next, then each team will win one more time. The game is rigged. Ever notice how suspicious it was that green was so far ahead of everyone else yesterday, and pink is so far ahead today?(414,000 when the next lowest score is 174,000) And how strange it is that no team has won twice yet? And that the winning team is always winning by a large amount, not some small margin? It's all because it's rigged so that each team wins twice. Purple -> Red -> Green -> Pink -> Blue -> Purple -> Red -> Green -> Pink -> Blue

You sure you love Infinite? The amount of things you have criticized about it does not make it sound like a great game in your opinion.

I'll spell them out if I really need to. 1) It does nothing to change the formula 2) It has nowhere near the greatness of the original's story 3) The story makes borderline no sense 4) It contains all the problems of the original, bar the hacking minigame. 5) Bioshock is a complete game, and doesn't need a direct sequel 6) The little sister aspect of 2 just isn't fun That's 6 points from 4 minutes of video. We're still here after days and I haven't heard much about what makes 2 better than infinite, other than you never having tried to understand the story, which, it does take some effort to completely understand.

Literally the only thing. not saying that Infinite is bad, it's a great game, I just like all the other ones more than it. Infinite was a story of redemption. 2 was a story of save the girl and leave. Infinite had development in the characters. 2 had only one character that was at all interesting, which was the man who got turned into a fish or something. The Fontaine guy who went crazy or something like that? I never saw his face aside from the little portrait when he spoke to you, because the one time he fully appears, it's a jump scare, and I wasn't looking at the fish bowl when he did it. Anyways, regardless, the characters in 2 are boring and generic, while Booker is beautifully flawed, the Luteces are rightfully mysterious, and have their own flaws and depth, and Elizabeth... Ok, she was kinda generic, but at least she had some color in her cheeks. The little sister in 2 was just kinda "Female Protagonist 101." She had no personality other than that she wanted to learn from her big daddy.

I do agree, I might be the biggest Bioshock Infinite fan ever, but I would be lying if it all made sense the first time I beat it, its not a easy game to understand completely, but at Harp said, at least it does make sense. Another big problem I never brought up was the fact it all feels the same. Yes your in new places in Rapture, but it all feels similar because its still Rapture.

Can somebody move all this Bioshock discussion to a Bioshock thread?
