Fuck you, I'm a Mastermind/Scientist. You're just a Crafter/Mechanic. One of two. And thus, expendable.
EDIT: Fuck. Now I'm expendable too.

Looking through the description, I'd say that they're half right. Then again, about half of my traits were right on the border.

There were some traits in the ISTP Profile that didn't really sound like me either. I suppose you could take the test again, maybe? I did, but didn't leave any neutral answers and got a different profile that sounded a bit more like me. I posted ISTP because it was my first one, and there was less of a chance of it being fucked up due to prior knowledge of the test because of that.

I left neutral answers when I had no clue, but maybe I should try again. Though I gotta say, the strengths and weaknesses have me down to a T.

I tried again, leaving no neutral answers, and this time I got ISFP. Still very prospecting. Let me look at the description.

The strengths and weaknesses were actually what conflicted for me, Harp. "Optomistic and Energetic". Heh, hell no. "enjoy taking risks". Ho-lee crap, no. "Good at dealing with crisis situations." Not in the slightest. Plus there were a few things about "lack of need for personal space," which is just straight up false for me. Half of the romance and friend parts were wrong as well.
Shit, maybe I'm not ITSP. Or perhaps I'm just borderline.

I'm just gonna make a list of everything that stands out.
It says I hate being controlled... Not true... In fact, being controlled often gives me a sense of purpose... So long as I enjoy the purpose, and also not in a creepy way.
It says I have trouble following a structured process, and may have trouble at school for this reason. This is entirely true. Not in a "fuck the system" way, but in a "I wanna do what I wanna do" way. I mean, I completely understand school, but I just cannot follow a schedule of any description.
It says that I am goal oriented? Ha. No.
I think my last one made more sense for me.

Shit, maybe I'm not ITSP. Or perhaps I'm just borderline. The biggest problem I found with it was that it said that my type of personality usually had a large problem with cheating in relationships, due to the physical pleasure, and was easy to make friends. Neither of those are true. It takes me a long time to make friends (and they're usually people I hate when I first meet them), and, not to get too personal, but I have next to no sex drive.

Oh, and it said that I hate theoretical discussion. I love theoretical discussion. I think that this test thought I was an extrovert. That is completely inaccurate. When I spend too much time with people, I usually end up feeling depressed, and worn out. I like my me time. ^_^

Do you guys genuinely buy into this stuff, or do you see it as just a fun little thing to help kill some time? Just time killing, and learning more about each other. Not through whatever personality they get, but how they describe their reactions to it.

Do you guys genuinely buy into this stuff, or do you see it as just a fun little thing to help kill some time? The personality types themselves are probably an efficient way to categorize human personality. But I think people tend to have a pretty good gauge of their personality, strengths, and weaknesses as it is, so these tests don't really do anything but tell you stuff about yourself that you already know. They're slightly more scientific horoscopes. But that's not saying much.
