This is a burning question that I've wanted to ask for a while. So which game do you think is better? If you HAD to choose? If your life depended on it.
The Walking Dead Season 2 (Season 1 doesn't count) or The Wolf Among Us?
When you've made your decision I would love to know why you picked it. Answer below, I look forward to it.

TWD Season 2. TWAU's alright, but episode 2 was absolute shit, and ep. 4 wasn't usual TTG quality.

Don't get mad at me but TWAU. I like it because of the mystery and the characters are interesting while season 2 lacks character development and I feel like I'm watching a movie than a game. Just my opinion.

Just my opinion. Why would we get mad at you? Its your honest opinion and I respect that. You act like we all would bash you for saying TWAU is better. We're not like that, you should know that by now.

Really like Wolf Among Us. Needs to be said beforehand. It took weeks of convincing myself to give it a try before I did and I'm damn glad I did. It's legit. Gonna start reading the Fables comics because of it.
But as long as Clementine exists, it's The Walking Dead.

The Wolf among us, as it still has the illusion of choice. TWD ditched that shit entirely.

The Walking Dead. I love TWAU, don't get me wrong, but I enjoy seeing the characters from TWD struggle through impossible situations and keep on going (well, most of them) despite there not being anything to really look forward to at the end of the line. The perseverance and determination they display going up against the odds is something I like to see, even if the characters this time around didn't get as much development as the cast from Season 1 did.

Okay, well. I never thought I'd say this back when Episode 1 of TWAU was released...
But The Wolf Among Us is definitely better and well-written IMHO...
TWAU's opening had a strong exposition, and I felt comfortable with every character, and totally hated all the 'baddies', and the goddamn cliffhanger. Episode 2, regardless of the ridiculous delay was great and full with twist and turns, but felt a bit weak. The investigating and the relationship with every character really makes me invested in the story. With Season 2, I find it hard to really rely on some of these characters to trust or to even care about. TWAU did great because of it's strong first episode, but with Season 2 it was just: Hey, Season 1 characters are back, *20 minutes later* Welp, they're gone. Ooh, new group. Can't really get to know them. No hubs and no chance to talk to the characters. TWAU has a bunch of hubs: investigating, getting the truth out of Toad, either beat the shit out of Dee/Woodsman or play good cop and try your best to get answer. And the 'they will remember this' actually means something in TWAU, for example in Episode 4: if you were keeping secrets for Beauty, Beast will be an asshole to you; and it's the same way for Beauty if you told Beast directly.
However, in Episode 2 of AHD, regardless of what you said to Carlos or Rebecca. They'll be like 'OMFG ARE YOU OKAY', especially after Carlos told Clem to stay away from his daughter, 'WATCH SARAH PLS' I don't think it's because 'oh, she's a kid. give her a break.'
Anyways, end of rant. Abrupt end of rant, maybe, but I don't care. I just think that TWAU is superior in every way. Better writing, characters mean more to me.

Hmm. I feel more attached to TWD's story, but I like the game design decisions of TWAU more. Right now, I think TWAU wins it out, but that could very well change when TWD Episode 4 hits and Christa comes back.

If I could somehow fix the lighting on the Episode 2 thing where you reunite with Kenny, I'd totally mod that and replace Christa with Kenny just for you, Dome. im srry
