Jay simply replied to the girl,"I'm glad someone agrees with me."*
"Who else thinks this a zombie apocalypse huh? Come on a show of hands. I wanna see just how many loonies I'm dealing with here" Tia said.
"Knock it off would ya" Edward said to her, fearing she might say something they'd both regret.
"No! You know as well as I do that this isn't a zombie apocalypse, and I'm appalled at the lack of reasoning here. Hell that kid murdered someone in cold blood!" Tia pointing to one of the tag-along boys, who shrunk away in shame, but the other jumped in.
"That someone was our friend" he said, noticeably angry at Tia.
"That makes it worse! He killed his own friend. He shoved a piece of glass into his head and killed him" Tia retorted. She was obviously very angry and did not want to be there. She, like everyone else in the van, wanted to be in the safety and comfort of her own home with her friends and family. Instead of being with all of the above, she was in van with strangers, which obviously had her ticked off.
"That's enough back there!" driver screamed out, silencing the van "I am about three seconds from leaving all of you outside for dead. Now you all cease and desist, or sh*ts going to get ugly"
With that Tia settled down, along with the rest of the van, with Edward trying to soothe her.*
Jay just sat and watched the girl yell, then he heard the boy try to get her to stop, then the driver came in and told her to stop and she did. He really wanted to yell back, but he needed the ride to the truck. He then decided to out his phone, as he did so, he noticed he had a text. It was from Vic.
It read,"We passed by Logan's house, don't tell him this, but his mom and his little brother are dead.
His eyes widened, he looked over at Logan, who turned his head to look at him with a suspicious look and he immediately turned back to his phone. He thought to himself,"If Logan finds out, he might kill himself.
He opened up the game "Where's My Water?" and started to play it. It would help to distract him for a little bit*
Waylon felt that he had all the power while he was driving the van, brought a smile to his face. He turned his head to Austin, not paying attention to the road.
"So, who you stab in the head cuz?" Austin looked up at him and answered
"Dylan...." Austin said trailing off.
"God Damn it, liked him." Waylon said as he turned his head back to the road. he hit into one of the infected people, witch he believed were zombies.
"For all you guys who care, my name is Waylon. Noob, you should give your name too" Austin started to shift in his seat. Rob noticed this and spoke up
"My name is Rob, my friend is Austin." Austin started to look around at the people, Then at the buildings outside, trying to find the best place to go if the hotel fails they could find a different place to go too. There was a gun store, if his memory served him right, it was about a mile from the hotel.*
After some Delay, Waylon finally pulled up to the hotel. Austin was the first on out, as he wanted to stay away from the people for as long as he could. Then Rob came out, the Guy with the gun came out after rob, The french girl came out too looked over at Austin for a second then moved on. gun guys girl came out next, then the couple. then jay, and last but not least Logan. The only reason Austin remembered the last to guys was because he had friends with those names in one of his older schools. Waylon Looked up at the hotel, then walked toward the doors. He went toward them and tried to open them. They were locked. Waylon turned around, slightly sadden.
"Well guys, were going to have to find a different way in."*
Teddy grinned and said "Or we could just do this." He then backed up and rushed shoulder first into the doors. The first time they did not budge, the second time they moved inward slightly and the 3rd a metal snap from inside the doors rang out and the doors opened up on their own.
Teddy then turned and said "I havent been here so someone else lead the way."*
Logan replied to Teddy,"I'm going to go get the truck, anyone want to come with me?" Jay replied no and turned to look at everyone else.*
Aurore spoke up to the boy going to the truck and said "You should not go on your own, those things will get you killed. I will go with you just in case." Teddy was not about to break off from the group to find a truck but he also didnt want the kids to get killed.
Teddy glanced around and noticed inside of the main lobby of the hotel by where they were standing was a fire place with some fire pokers next to it. He said to the kids "Wait just a sec" as he jogged inside the building and grabbed 2 fire pokers. They were heavy and very solid with a jagged spike at the end for grabbing logs.
Teddy handed one to the girl and one to the boy who were going for the truck. As he handed them over he said "Now you can defend yourselves."*
Logan simply said thanks and started for the truck with the girl following.*

Edward and Tia got out of the van and joined the group as everyone assembled around the front doors of the hotel. As Edward looked around, the entire area looked strangely familiar. Within moments he came to the realization that they were back at Hart Tower. He looked across the street and confirmed the fact that it was indeed Hart Tower, remembering the events of the previous night as soon as he saw the lamp post and it's surroundings.
They watched as the man called Waylon approached the doors and tried them. They must have been locked because the he soon turned around and told them they would have to find a way around. As Tia and Edward turned to try and find another route, they heard a very loud bang behind them. The looked back to see that Teddy had broken through the doors.
"I haven't been in here so someone else lead the way" Teddy said to the group.
Before anyone could respond, one of the victim boys, Logan, spoke.
"I'm going to go get the truck, anyone want to come with me?" he said. His friend responded no, and everyone else stayed silent. From among the group however, a soft voice spoke out.
"You should not go on your own, those things will get you killed. I will go with you just in case" The voice belonged to the girl Teddy had picked up at the hospital. Edward noticed her strong French accent and imagined she was of that nationality. They were about to leave when Teddy interjected.
"Wait just a sec" he said before he went into the hotel and came back out with 2 fire pokers.
"Now you can defend yourselves"
The two kids took the pokers and then proceeded to leave.
"I'll go in with you Teddy" Edward said. "This is after all the hotel we were staying at" he said. Tia immediately snapped into attention and looked about, soon coming to the same conclusion.
"If you're going into the hotel, then I'm going too. We need to go back to our room and get our stuff" she said. Edward nodded in agreement. The three then walked further into the hotel past the main lobby and towards the elevators. As they passed the buffet, Edward felt very odd. The hotel was empty and silent, a sharp contrast to its business earlier that same morning. He wondered whether the plate with food that he had left was still there.
As they reached the elevators, Teddy spoke out. "After what happened today, I am officially a stairs only man"
Edward and Tia concurred and looked about for a nearby stairwell, which they found nearby. They walked up to the door that led into the stairwell and, once they saw that it was open, proceeded inside and began the trek up to the 6th floor.
