I picked Destroy. I had enough War Assets to get Synthesis, but I felt like forcing that change on everyone in the Galaxy would be horrible. What if nobody wants to become half machine? Who am I to say that they have to fall in line? With Control, even though I played Paragon since ME1 I didn't want any one person, even Paragon Shepard, to have that much power. There are just so many ways that could go wrong. So I picked destroy because it seemed like the one I was able to live with the best, even though it takes out EDI and the Geth. Yeah, I could get synthesis too, but it just felt not right. Have you seen that ending. Everyone looks like from a horror movie, with those green eyes. I had a hard time choosing between destroy and control, but I just like the geths too much. Yeah, I only did Synth once just to see what it looked like. I picked Destroy first, though.
What really sucks about that is that I wasn't able to make peace between the Geth and the Quarians, and I picked the Geth, letting the Quarians get wiped out. Then I wiped out the Geth anyway with Destroy.

Damn, that's depressing. I managed to make peace between them, but if I had to pick, I'd pick geths too. Did you cure the krogans from the genophage? I did, because I just really like Krogans. And because Wrex was leading them in my playtrough. I think it is possible for him to bring better times for his people, without so many wars.

Of course I cured them. Wrex is a bro, and a good leader for the Krogan. I also kept Eve alive because I had Maelon's data from ME2, so that was great. I lost Captain Kirrahe, though. He got killed saving the Salarian Councilor

Same, I had Maelon's data and Kirrahe died for me, too. Somehow, everyone survived the suicide mission in ME2. In the whole series, except those crew members who always die, I lost only Jack. I kinda forgot to go the planet she's in for the rescue. I didn't know I had a time limit there

Speaking of speeches, did you hear the one he makes if he's alive and you backstab Wrex over the Genophage? It's even better than the one he made on Virmire in ME1.

I didn't. I never brought myself to backstab Wrex. When does he make that speech? I'll look it up on yt.
Edit: Christa rank, fuck yeah!

Damn, Kirrahe sure knows how to make a great speech. It's a shame he died in my playtrough. He had a small role in the series, but his death made me really sad. But he can't stand a chance, when I have to pick between him and Wrex. Speaking of Wrex, he's the only ME1 companion that isn't one as well in ME3. That's bullshit. Well, he was in the Citadel DLC, but it didn't have a lot of missions.

Kirrahe only dies if you don't have Thane alive, so Kirrahe still gets to live, you just don't get to see him. I have to admit that his death saddened me as well, despite him being unimportant.

But... I had Thane alive, but Kirrahe died anyway. Or maybe it was on my 2nd playtrough, I always mix them up. I really need to replay the series, I already forgot a lot of things.

Did you talk to Thane? If Thane's alive, but you don't talk to him, the game acts like he's dead and Kirrahe takes the bullet. If you do talk to Thane, and Kirrahe's alive, Thane dies and you get Kirrahe as a war asset. Assuming, of course, you didn't let Kirrahe die back in Me1 (which I never do).

Kirahhe always died in playthroughs back in Virmine in ME1 I guess you never went to the AA tower, or didn't take out all the Geth defenses (Communications, Targeting Uplink, Geth Drones, and not triggering alarms on the other side of the base). You have to do quite a bit to ensure that he survives to the ed of the trilogy, but I always do it. He's too cool.

I talked to Thane and he was the one to de on my first playtrough. Kirrahe died on the 2nd one. So he's alive in my canon, yay.
