I just finished Mass effect 1 and it was awesome, I'll start Mass effect 2 tomorrow.

I played all three, I honestly thought the ending was not as bad as everyone said, but keep in mind I had all the DLC already put in, including Extended Cut.

Yeah, but imagine playing it in March 2012 and that ending happened. You'd probably be pissed off. Then in June 2012 the new endings came out.

Actually I played it in March of 2013, right after Citadel DLC came out, but yeah if I was there at the start in March of 2012, I would have been pissed!

I love the ME Trilogy. Thankfully, I'm on PC, so I get the happy ending mod.

I ask this same question? What is this? My ideal happy ending is sitting on a beach with good old Garius drinking beer while looking at dead Reapers husks in the water.

Well I'll be damned, that sounds amazing, is there a Youtube video for this? Because I don't have a PC sadly that can run ME3, but I need to see this, it sounds amazing!

I believe there is. It shouldn't be too hard to find, just type "Mass Effect Happy Ending Mod" into the search bar and start looking.

Well, that's awesome. Like Bio, I played ME3 after Citadel DLC came out, so I wasn't that much disapointed by the ending. This one is still better, though. But in the original one, which ending did you guys choose? I picked the control one, because I didn't want to destroy the geths and I didn't like the third option.

I picked Destroy. I had enough War Assets to get Synthesis, but I felt like forcing that change on everyone in the Galaxy would be horrible. What if nobody wants to become half machine? Who am I to say that they have to fall in line? With Control, even though I played Paragon since ME1 I didn't want any one person, even Paragon Shepard, to have that much power. There are just so many ways that could go wrong. So I picked destroy because it seemed like the one I was able to live with the best, even though it takes out EDI and the Geth.

I shortly got into Mass Effect after I finished Season 1 of TWD. I currently finished ME1 and 2, but I can't play ME3 due to the infamous "Checking DLC" bug. Unfortunateley I'm only 16, so I have to wait two more years till I can play it.

Yeah, I could get synthesis too, but it just felt not right. Have you seen that ending. Everyone looks like from a horror movie, with those green eyes. I had a hard time choosing between destroy and control, but I just like the geths too much.
