The whole time I was around Ryan, I just felt nothing but distrust towards him. I turned down every opportunity to where Jodie can kiss him, except for the near end where he manages get one kiss. When I got to the end, I chose life and when I saw the four endings to choose, I had no idea which I should do. I was considering to go with Jay, but then I remembered that Stan and the gang still believe I'm dead, so I decided to go with Zoey and show them I'm alive. I felt so accomplished at that moment. (When it came to delivering Zoey, the whole time I'm just thinking in my head "What do I do, What do I do, what the fuck do I do?")

I liked the dynamic that group had going.

I went with Ryan. I don't know. I thought he redeemed himself.
When given the option of Jay, I didn't even remember who he was, looool.

So, can I use this thread to talk about Heavy Rain for a second?
I bought the game back in June and finally started it last weekend. Got two things to say.
1. PREEEEEEPOSTERRRRRRRRRRROUSSSSSSS control system. PREPOSTEROUS. Hold R2 and the analog stick to move? Use the right analog stick to control the character's head and focus instead of the camera? FUUUUUUUUUUCK OFF.
2. Is Jason the biggest asshole in civilization? There are rules in society. Act like a human. Don't be a savage. He killed himself. If you ignore your dad's EVERY SINGLE WORD, you're basically saying you want to die. That said, it's worked so far as a plot device because the next stage of the game feels so fuckin' sad. Doesn't change the fact that Jason is a total dink.

Doesn't change the fact that Jason is a total dink. The controls are really annoying, I got used to them but man are they painful at the start. Oh yes....... that thing...... JASON! JASON! JASON! God I can't not laugh at the voice acting, my god was it awful.... and yes, this is how you NOT make your kid character likable, you make him annoying, have a really shit voice actor from France that is trying to do an American accent, have him act like he has fucking mental problems even though he is like 11, have him run off in a crowded mall after getting a balloon, crossing the street, not looking, and fucking dying! Goddamn, he makes Duck and Sarah look better then Clem! Jesus fucking Christ, worst yet, I still don't understand why the kid even died! Five years later, it doesn't make sense, the car was going so slow, and the dad grabbed him, if anything HE should be dead, not the kid! Hell the wife doesn't give a fuck, not even bothering to ask if her husband, it's "Nope, only the kid matters, fuck the dad!" *Deep Breath*....... there is so much wrong with this scene, It makes me gouge my fucking eyes out!

I haven't played this game, but get the feeling that I'd like it for much the same reasons I think I'd like Fahrenheit(which I'll hopefully be able to play soon on the PC).

I don't know about that, Fahrenheit goes off the rails to the extreme half way through, and I suppose it could be laughed at like a dumb B movie past that point, I couldn't but maybe for some, for this.... I don't think so, it's always shitty the whole way through, and not in that over the top funny way, rather it's just boring and dull and pointless and so many segments should have been cut, and the out of order story telling makes it hard to follow and makes all choices pointless pretty much, and the amount of shower scenes and rape scenes are far to many for anything, it's just downright terrible, really I think I might lean a tad bit towards this when it comes to the worst David Cage game, yeah, it might be worse then Matrix kung fu fighting ancient Mayan cult leader on a helicopter while the internet comes alive and tries to destroy the world.

One thing I thought was cool was that failure at times just changed the path of the story, to some significant degree. Not so cool being that at other times it sucked all the tension out of certain scenes, but whatever. Also, the part I'm talking about is if you fail to hide when trying to get out of the facility place in Jodie's "emo phase"(really dumb part of the game), then the rape scene never happens. Also, victory = almost being raped.

Because if so, then you just played the game pretty much, on the subject of that scene, ugh, the way you convince the guy to let you go is so asinine stupid! Oh my god was that dumb!

I watched Jesse Cox play it, and I watched YOGSCAST Hannah play it, both of them liked it(it really irritated me that Jesse stole money, rather than getting the scene where Jodie sings that one song and plays the guitar to earn the money. That scene was actually pretty good).

If there is any consolation for this entire game, the poor section is kinda decent, and has a good character, holy shit that's breaking new ground, but it ends on a dumb note and your choices really don't matter, not to mention there is yet another fucking attempted rape scene in there, it's optional, but come on!

Also... IS there going to be a sequel? All the endings have that sequel hook, right? The only difference being that what's her face is with Jodie if you went with the not-so-homeless people anymore.
