He actually mentioned the same thing in the game Heavy Rain. "the best way to experience the game is really to make choices and then never know what would have happened if you’d made a different choice. Because life is like this"

" the best way to experience the game is really to make choices and then never know what would have happened if you’d made a different choice. Because life is like this" Yeah, but half the fun of these choice games is finding out what happens if you choose the other option, for TWD I keep my choices the same through out my main playthrough, I'm okay with that, but not replaying it at all? Come on!

Man I feel like I am the only one that thinks this game is garbage, seriously, for the love of god don't tell me your all fans of David Cage? Please tell me that is not the case, he is the antithesis of good game developers. No of course not. I've never played Heavy Rain and Indigo Prophecy. Beyond was fun when I played it, but I'm not doing any replays anytime soon.

Heavy Rain was the least worst, Indigo Prophecy or Fahrenheit totally went insane half way through and was really bad, this was either second worst, or the worst. Also I loved this playthrough, funny and oh so right!

Like the last scene ripping off MGS4's Microwave Scene, and this little gem. Pat: I'm gonna choose death because FUCK RYAN! I would rather DIE, than be with him, that's how much I hate him!

Yep, I mean when you rip off Bioshock, KOTOR, Metal Gear Solid, and a lot of other games and movies, yeah that's when I lose my shit, also yeah I agree with that line, fuck that guy, and yet it still forces me to be with him.

I will admit that this game may have its faults but I will also admit that when I thought we lost Aidan for good I cried and if a writer can make me attached to a character that has never spoken a word I believe said writer deserves praise.

I suppose, but trust me, I am going to show my English teacher this game, I honestly want to know his cut on it, for the record he has a masters degree in English, this will be fun!

I don't know whether I liked B:TS or not...
I think it was because the time skips messed up with the linearity of the story. Ellen was the only good actor in the game, moreso than Defoe. I can't muster the strength to play through it a second time, it's just so long and tedious.
With the ending that I got though, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing a sequel.

Also I have to mention this, but the underwater base beginning rips of the beginning of Bioshock, do you know how much that pissed me off? Also the part where you in a diving suit is a rip of the underwater base section in the Mannan level in KOTOR, also one of my favorite games, I can go on, trust me, I can, seriously fuck this game, David Cage is the Lilly of game developers! NEVER ever ever ever EVER mention Manaan. Granted, this post is derailing the thread slightly, but I hate Manaan so fucking much that even 11 years later I detest going to that aquariam of a world inhabited by the idiotic, money grubbing "neutral" fish heads known as the Selkath. I can't stand that planet or its inhabitants with their hopes of successfully playing both sides of the war and not realizing that they're going to be turned into fish food when the Sith win because they decided to help them as well as the Republic.
Thread derailing rant is now over. I've just always wanted to get that off my chest, and I haven't had anywhere to get that off my chest. Please continue your discussions.

Yeah there politics are not all that great, and by the time of the Empire, Kolto gets replaced by the cheaper Bacta, but for some reason I like the Selkath, maybe it's there really cool language, or the fact I just like lizard aliens, but I like them.

Eh, I picked the Ryan ending when I played. He redeemed himself as far as I'm concerned by the end of the game. Otherwise I'd guess I'd choose the Zoey Ending, or the Beyond Ending if everyone died. I don't know why David Cage made the Jay ending a choice. Why would anyone pick that?
